We thank the board for inviting us and the fans for their fantastic generousity. Well done to those Chester supporters who took part. I spent a bit of time speaking to the two based in the Mold Road Stand - with their Chester scarves and blue buckets - nice folk and a credit to your club. True footy fans will always shine through despite the haters on both sides

Loads of drivel posted about this and no doubt this thread will degenerate too but thanks to all who donated. And those who collected.

News (and photos) keeps coming in about this afternoon's fundraising. Here is Wrexham director Spencer Harris making a donation I don't know what DevaChat has done to the photo, it was the right way up when it left my pc! While more the £100 of the total was donated by the Aldershot fans in the away section

I hope the two in the Mold Road Stand did not get abuse - and if I had seen any from Wrexham fans then they would have got it with both barrels from me!

To be fair, it was better than I expected, a few fans did come up and have a chat, but I think I picked the worse stand, 1 woman came up to me, waved a penny in my face, smiled and put it in my bucket, class.

Respect to the Reds for this. Thank you. For 90 minutes in our derby matches, the passion is pure and desire to win is everything but we all support our local sides and you have to respect any fellow lower League supporter who chooses to watch at this level instead of sit watching the premier league on TV. I hope we have derbies for many years to come (although it's not looking likely next year!)

I didn’t give any money today and I wouldn’t have put any fans off putting money in your bucket.
Seen the couple in the Mold Road seemed to be a nice couple they probably expected to a few sly comments but what will be will be.

We have had word from the couple based in the Mold Road Stand. They met some really nice people who are a credit to Wrexham AFC. The lady is remaining a Blue however but she might give the Wrexham fans a wave on 11th March

National league rules say that visiting fans should pay no more than home fans for the same seats. As we take over their stand behind the goal the alternative is the other 2 sides which are £20. On the day a Wrexham fan cannot turn up and pay less than £20 for a seat for the game. A £16 seat does not exist.

Probably the same blonde slapper we met in a Torquay pub few seasons back, When they played in fa trophy game, which cancelled our league game, as we’d booked train tickets & Digs in advance we went anyhow. Her & the other goats got a shock when we turned up in the pub,Hilarious

Weird and Wrexham go together Hats off to you and the others who took part today - obviously true supporters. To be fair if it was the other way round, I would have got tanked up on Lower Bridge Street first

You'll have to take my £1 coin to the bank and exchange it. It's one of the old ones. It wouldn't fit in vending machines....nothing.
