Lossiemouth who finished just above Fort William last season managed a 1-0 home win against Huntly so finishing second from bottom even with the loan players could be a big ask. Brora are a sugar daddy club who regularly buy the league so hard to judge how 'good' or bad the Fort are this season. Won it twice 2013/14 and following year so hardly "buying" the league regularly!

Fair enough. I should have inserted the words 'try to' as the they have had three near misses since 2015. Brora is a small village with a population of less than 1,200 and were no hopers like Fort William and Lossiemouth until the injection of a significant amount of cash every season since 2011. Saughall is more than twice the size of Brora !

Won the league a record five consecutive times in the 1990’s without a sugar daddy.

Its a North of Scotland Cup game so perhaps not taken too seriously, but it's a novelty for them to win any game.

Currently winning 4-2 against Narim Gwon the fort I think AGL is right and there is every chance that Nairn are not taking a North of Scotland Cup match too seriously. Went to see Nairn play Wick in a mid week game last season. As I left the match I was amused to see the Wick coach driver accepting a delivery of 5 Pizza boxes for the players to eat on the long journey back to Wick. They must like cold Pizza ! Hope to go and see Buckie Thistle on Saturday as I will be on holiday up there. I have to be honest and say my sympathies mainly lie with them and Deveronvale rather than Fort William. However there are plenty of other clubs I would be pleased to see the Fort register their much awaited League win against.

That was Fort's first win in 840 days. The last time they won, Jon Mccarthy was our manager.

Lovely part of the world Nairn and the highland railway taking in all stops from Inverness to aberdeen is decent for exploring the area, and see numerous highland league teams grounds literally a stones throw from each station

I don't think it's a series though, just a one-off documentary.

Things on the up at the Fort orly a 2-0 defeat yesterday Only 12 goals conceded in 3 matches (I think they've played some of the better teams so far). Keith have actually conceded 16. I can feel a draw on the horizon.

Why are they doing so well in that cup, but nothing else? They're in the semis now.
