I thought he came across quite well tbh, but shame about his terrible defending for the 2 German goals though!

I think we all know what he represents, the dark side of football. Financial irregularities, bullying, racism misogyny and on field success. I cheered like everyone else when we won the conference, but felt a degree of ambivalence. I must admit that even during these last few terrible seasons I have felt more comfortable with the club I have supported since the sixties than in the Vaughan era.

Hasn't Wright had a "Road to Damascus" moment though and is not heavy involved in Foster Care and helping orphans in China? Granted his reputation has been tainted with the above mentioned allegations branded against him. What ever happened to his right hand man Bleasdale? That documentary on Sky a few years ago was the best soccer documentary I have seen.
