A thing which bugs me is when clubs "announce a signing" - and it's just a contract extension for an existing player. It's a bit of an anticlimax.

Some sports reporter on twitter seems to think we’re trying to sign Robert Green, Jonno has quickly gone to rubbish the rumour but the reporter goes on to say he’s just relaying messages that have been told to him by former team mates.

Good move for the lad he might as well go out playing games instead of keeping the bench warm every week, I am sure they will have a recall agreement in case of injury to our number one, we can get a young lad to sit on the bench unless they decide to go without a backup keeper.

Nathan Arnold has left Alty by mutual consent NA is 32 with loads of experience - if fit, a good signing for clubs at our level.

Danny Cowley off to Huddersfield. Gone from a job for life to a job for six months if he doesn’t get it right.

Hypothetically, the Dynamic Duo could be on the radar of a League 2 side; no one at CFC would stand in their way and we’d all wish them both well. Whereas Danny Cowley has always been number one out of the two brothers, who is seen as number one out of Bernard or Jonno.
