Not a transfer, but just read on Facebook that Stockport County have been taken over and their fans seem very excited. Anybody else heard about it?

Mark Stott from the Bramhall area I think has bought the club. Made his money by loading big cities with top quality, but affordable student accommodation which he sold off 50% a couple of years ago for £600m!

Seems like every other club are signing new players in recent weeks. I hope we bring in one or two to strengthen for the run in.

Blyth lose their star man, winger Callum Roberts, to Notts County for an undisclosed fee. Think that settles the relegation spots this season.

I’m somewhat surprised that we have not seen several changes to the squad this month. I expected in the region of three out and three in, and only ten days of the month left. Two key players missing from a promotion team, in my opinion. Is all well financially, in respect of a promotion push?

Let's be honest people are hardly queuing up to take some of our fringe players off our hands, and our gates surely can't provide an increased budget. We have a big squad, albeit with a few injuries, all signed by our managers. Time to crack on and get 2nd or 3rd secured.

We’re signing John Johnston from Alty, with a player possibly going in the other direction as part of a swap deal (probably Mahon as a like-for-like winger).

Another ex Salford old boy, whats the point of bringing in another winger if we haven't got someone to put the ball in the net? Surely an out and out striker is the priority.

Surely Alty wouldnt outright swap one of their first team players for a player who's barely even been on the bench for us this season? Must be a fee involved too?

Some of the signings they have made haven't quite worked out, Elliott, Hughes, Ngtawala to name but 3. Hopefully this next one does.

He has pace, physique, a good left foot and can hit a ball. He was well worth a shout as a 4th/5th choice striker. He's one who could do well next season. Probably after he leaves us! Matty gives us something different from the other forwards we have. Movement is good, and always on the move. Not sure he'll score thst many though. Elton just looks a player who'll look great when you're winning 4-0. Similar attributes to Jordan Chappell, and similar negatives.
