Dont get into a battle with RCB over spelling or punctuation, your bound to loose TBF you’ve given him some ammunition with that spelling Yup, knew someone would bite. Three errors in there actually. 😎

I agree, but as it was used initially against me as part of an unnecessary insult I chose to respond. Not sure why someone else chose to stick his nose in thereafter. Apologies if I upset you. Wasn’t my intention.

Striker and free agent Danny Elliot has signed for Chester FC on a one-year contract today prior to tonight’s pre-season friendly at home against Dulwich Hamlet after impressing on trial. I don’t think many of us were expecting this as it was reported that he departed the other day. However, I am pleased with this signing as he was arguably our best player on Saturday. Danny created a lot of openings and topped it off with a brilliant goal. Welcome to Chester FC Danny 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️!

Very good piece of news. I have been impressed with his distribution thus far, and at Newquay in particular he was very vocal. Welcome to Chester FC Russ 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️!

Cain Noble playing for Hyde Utd tonight in a friendly. Looks like we maybe looking to get him out on loan. Probably a good idea. He should get plenty of game time there. Didn't really come on as i expected last season. Wouldn't be surprised if Thompson went out somewhere too, now we've more options.

Quite interesting that when we've sent the youth lads out that have moved onto bigger and better or look to be first team players now. They've all gone on loan and not torn up any trees, come back in and then kicked on. Hughes at Witton, Crawford at Runcorn and Waters at various clubs.

Midfielders James Cottrell, Stuart Crilly, and Louis Hayes, centre back George Macready, and left back Harry Molyneux have all signed professional contracts for Chester FC today after impressing in our Youth team. They have all signed one-year contracts. Once again this is really good news for our Youth Academy as these lads have all impressed in both first team and younger environments, and are really mature players. Once again thank you to Ian Swettenham for his support as this wouldn’t happen without him. All the best James, Stuart, Louis, George, and Harry 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️!

Midfielder Louis Hayes has joined Burscough on a youth loan today subject to FA clearance. Burscough play in the North West Counties League which should allow him to get some experience and more game time. Good luck Louis.

Didn't really come on as i expected last season. Wouldn't be surprised if Thompson went out somewhere too, now we've more options. The problem is that young players develop at different speeds. You wouldnt have given much for Matty Waters chances, but he came back a different player. The gap between youth and senior football, is massive and sending the lads out on loan, really aids their development.

Problem is it took nearly 3 years before Waters evolved into bring comfortable at this level. Can we afford to be that patient? I would say no.

Left back Harry Molyneux joined Rylands on loan prior to today’s home match against Gloucester City. Harry scored in Rylands’ 5-0 win against Avro so hopefully he will continue his fine start. Good luck Harry.

Midfielder Stuart Crilly also joined Sandbach United on loan prior to today’s home match against Gloucester City. Stuart managed to assist one of Sandbach’s goals in their 3-2 win against St Martins which shows that he is already settling well there. Good luck Stuart.

Anyone know how Cain Noble is getting on at Hyde? Not in their match squad yesterday - maybe injured? He has been a substitute in all but the early friendly games they have played so he will have to up his game if he wants to play regularly, they do seem to have brought a lot of players in just before the start of the season.

Needs to be playing really, he’d get the same value sitting on our bench than theirs. Arguably even more!

With the strength in depth we have in our squad I don’t believe he would make the bench here so he is going to have to fight for the right to play at Hyde , that will go some way to prove if he can make it or not at this level or below.

Centre back George Macready has joined 1874 Northwich on loan prior to today’s away match against Kidderminster Harriers. George will be 1 of 4 Academy graduates currently out on loan so hopefully they will all get some game time. Good luck George.

Centre midfielder and free agent George Glendon has signed for Chester FC on a short term contract today. This is a great piece of business as he has a wealth of EFL experience - having been an ever-present for Fleetwood Town two seasons ago, whilst he had a spell at Carlisle United last campaign. George also used to play for England at under-16 and under-17 level, and used to be the captain of Manchester City’s Youth side. Welcome to Chester FC George 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️!

Striker Lloyd Marsh-Hughes has joined Marine on an initial month-long loan today. Hopefully he will have a good experience there under Neil Young as he is finding it tough to break through at the moment. Good luck Lloyd.
