Still no sign of Absentee and with the signing of trialist B and possibly the Manx chap I would say we wont see him again in a Chester shirt Oh behave he's injured he's being brought in slowly no point rushing him when he's already injured doesn't take a genius to work out what happens when you do that

Jonno said post match tonight that Asante should feature on Tuesday if he comes through Mondays training without any issues.

Come on guys give it a rest, like someone has already said wipe the slate clean and see what the new season brings. Why rush Asante back in pre season if he still has niggles when we all know what a fully fit Asante is capable off. Have you even stopped to consider that Asante might want to play but it is out of his hands ? maybe the managers are erring on the side of caution.

Course they won't, people just looking to moan no matter what they'll be rimming him start season when he starts banging them in therein lies the problem, as a fan base we have become so negative and that even shows on match days with the flat atmosphere. I know we have had some hard times over the years but its about time people stood up and dusted themselves off and got behind the team. How do people expect use to survive and attract new and younger fans if the place is all doom and gloom and like a morgue on match days ? You know what I've watched smaller clubs than us with more spirit and passion than we have right now and that is the truth. Over the years I have seen the Sealand end rocking the Harry Mc full and singing but now it really makes me sad, if people really want to see this club survive attitudes need to change and fast.

Like reading a whole chapter in ‘The Defenders Manual.’ Why wouldn’t people defend their players rcb? The players aren’t the supporters enemies!

Finding all of this a bit embarrassing to be honest - we've had one pre-season friendly. This is all very similar to the hysterics from the usual suspects about how James Alabi was apparently useless, despite being our top scorer, because "he can't win headers for a big lad" What’s going on here? I actually agree with you for a change. Asante is the best striker in this league. Can’t wait to see him bag 20 plus next season.

The lad, unfortunately, has an injury riddled history. Some are cynical in regard to his value to this club, whilst others feel it a worthy gamble. Only time will tell, so best to leave it at that. Regardless, I’m sure everyone wants him to be a roaring success.

Any injury clauses etc?

He costs us nothing. So why would we get rid. He was there tonight along with matty Hughes and Taylor? Being put through their paces. But hey if you're not there you wouldn't see it. By the way what a cracking player matty waters has become

By the way what a cracking player matty waters has become I thought the same thing about Matty when he played last week he looked like he has improved massively since last season, could be the next player to earn us a few bob in the transfer market later in the season.

There were about 6 or 7 scouts there last night, talking to two before the game from Leeds Utd and Norwich, wouldn't say who they were there to see but they both left straight after Danny Elliot went off
