Amazing what is going on at these 2 football clubs. Lots of talk about helping them out, gifting them money, but that would only make the situation worse, would just give scam owners everywhere green light to overspend thinking they would be bailed out anyways. Dale has no money at Bury, and who would want him to find it, they can only hope for a new owner to be found in 14 days #unlikley. Bassini must have some alternative agenda, there is no chance he will ever become their owner. Big mess.

Bury might as well liquidate and start again. Who owns their ground?

That is a god question. Surely not Steve Dale as he would have got it (plus debts) for a £1. If he does own it, then I think they are in real trouble.

And I think they have a lot more to raise (ie millions) plus the fact that nobody would donate any money to Dale.

When you hear that a company called “Football Ventures” is interested in taking you over then you just wonder if a certain former Chester chairman is involved!

Bury have had a fifth game suspended now. At what point do they make a decision?

Bury have had a fifth game suspended now. At what point do they make a decision? They seem to be trying hard to keep them in the league. But there again their is talk of kicking them out of the cup, after the game against Sheff Wednesday was called off.

Classic trick of shouting louder than everyone else and telling them they're wrong, because you don't have any argument.

Typical. Dale sounds like a cornered politician, When cornered answer a question with a question. Refuses to answer a direct question with a direct answer A very clever man. If in doubt just move the conversation elsewhere. I think Bury are dead!

Dale's going to hold out for a miraculaous sale from which he'll earn millions, and if that fails Bury will be kicked out and the club will then be liquidated.

Loyal fans of a club have no say at all when you have someone like Dale our Vaughan in charge. They are just asset strippers intent on squeezing every last bit of juice out of the corpse. If the bury fans donated a large sum to save the club Dale would just trouser the money. Vaughan was the same here, never paid anything at all in the last year of the clubs life. The final nail was a 20k tax bill that they never even turned up to pay. These people are killing football

Bolton have called off their game tomorrow, seemingly without letting the league or the opposition Doncaster know. I wouldn’t have thought the EFL could let this go unpunished. I know they’re in a bad way but if they’re allowed to get away with this it’ll open the floodgates. They’ll end up with teams postponing games because a star player is injured for example. You can understand Doncaster being pissed off, if the game is rearranged for 3 months time Bolton will have a new owner and some experienced players and an easy game against a load of kids will become a much harder game for them.

I see Bury's MP is writing to the League pleading for more time to find a buyer. Well intentioned, but missing the point I think. This Steve Dale is a schyster and if I were a Bury fan I don't think I could stomach the thought of his walking away with his pockets full. Sadly I think they need to go down our route, start again, reinvent themselves and have some fun on the way back up.

Sounds like there are different factions within Bury's fanbase battling for the right to start a Phoenix club. Some say it can't happen. Not a good start to be fair. Ex-Director chained herself to a club drainpipe today imploring all North West clubs to "do something!!!" without specifying what exactly. Came across very Delia Smith and desperate. Doesn't look like anyone can do anything except hope for a sale to a decent buyer. In 24 hours.

If they follow our path I'm sure we can offer help and support to them. Nothing we can do about their current predicament though.

Danny Cowley, who’s Lincoln played on Tuesday, next play Doncaster on Saturday and who had their game v Bolton cancelled by Bolton midweek. He feels Lincoln will be significantly more tired than Doncaster as a consequence, and blames the EFL. Interestingly, he also said of his own team - “We only have 18 players. The reason we have only 18 players is because we’re trying to live within our means.”
