I offered McCarthy as a reason, not an excuse. McCarthy happened, the flood fiasco happened, relegation happened, and people have walked away. All facts. From a point of attracting people back, or attracting new fans, I find it ridiculous that you see being in a lower division as being in a better place. Just not true. We’re in a better place now then where we were that season though ? We’ve stabilised the club and we can only go forward from here onwards As a committed fan you may well be right, particularly in terms of stability. However, the club is playing in a lower league and the stay always are clearly not impressed, and it’s looking difficult to impress new fans. You say we can only go forward from here, and in my eyes that means promotion this season. As I said before, I feel we need a good cup run, or promotion this season. Preferably both!

Yes both would be nice.

Are the club going to open the South Stand for this game or is it going to be a case of cramming everyone in the West Stand?

People say £15 isn’t good value, compared to what? And how could we do it any cheaper. People say you can watch premier league for £30, premier league could let everyone in for free and it wouldnt make any difference as gate receipts are a tiny portion of their income whereas for us it’s probably 95%. Drop the price by a fiver you’d probably have to double the crowds, ain’t going to happen. Crowds unfortunately will never pick up. Times have changed bet most of the kids don’t even give consideration to going to watch live football due the the complete saturation on tv and in media, the only thing that matters is premier league. When I was young if you wanted to watch football you had to go the game and it did t matter if they were good or bad. Now you can have people sat in pubs proudly announcing they are Barcelona fans. There’s no instagram likes in going down the deva

How can we look tinpot ? If you go to the games and see what all the volunteers are doing and we get decent crowds then tbh your talking shit. Mate, you live in a different world, what do you expect? With sky and other things going on we just need to make samll steps forward , but tinpot were not! Been on the ale? But yeah I disagree, crowds of 1,600 aren't decent for a fan owned club reliant on gate income. I think we'll have 2,000 in the home end on Monday and, for me, that's the very least it should be. As daft as that sounds to some. harry mac has a capacity of 12-1300, be a bit of a squeeze that
