One of the Northwich teams, City of Liverpool or Fcum if they get through their replays would be good. Don't fancy Nantwich away though. Surely this season we can have some sort of run in this or the Trophy.

The eggheads on Tony's Non-league Forum have put all the current round ties into 'zones'. I'm guessing we'll be in Zone 1 with the winners of the following ties (the result is given after each tie).
Zone 1 001 Thornaby (9NL1) v Ossett United (8NP1NW) 2-2 204 (replay Tue 7.45) 002 1874 Northwich (9NWCP) v Pickering Town (8NP1NW) 2-0 305 003 Scarborough Athletic (7NPP) v Marske United (8NP1NW) 1-1 698 (replay Tue 7.45) 004 Lancaster City (7NPP) v Northwich Victoria (9NWCP) 0-0 261 (replay Wed 7.45) 005 F.C. United of Manchester (7NPP) v Atherton Collieries (7NPP) 2-2 1,216 (replay Tue 7.45) 006 Dunston (8NP1NW) v Sunderland R.C.A. (9NL1) 0-0 392 (replay Wed 7.45) 007 Liversedge (9NCEP) v Stockton Town (9NL1) 0-2 286 008 Newcastle Benfield (9NL1) v Runcorn Town (9NWCP) 2-3 370 009 Warrington Town (7NPP) v City of Liverpool (8NP1NW) 2-2 612 (replay Tue 7.45) 010 Charnock Richard (9NWCP) v Irlam (9NWCP) 0-4 209 011 Widnes (8NP1NW) v Whitby Town (7NPP) 0-4 153 012 Tadcaster Albion (8NP1NW) v Ashton United (7NPP) 2-2 361 (replay Tue 7.45) 013 Stalybridge Celtic (7NPP) v Marine (8NP1NW) 0-2 294 014 Trafford (8NP1NW) v Bamber Bridge (7NPP) 3-0 298 015 Glossop North End (8NP1SE) v Pontefract Collieries (8NP1NW) 1-3 222 016 South Shields (7NPP) v Colne (8NP1NW) 0-0 1,157 (replay Tue 7.45) 017 Maltby Main (9NCEP) v Ramsbottom United (8NP1NW) 1-5 115 018 Morpeth Town (7NPP) v Hyde United (7NPP) 3-1 551 019 Seaham Red Star (9NL1) v Witton Albion (7NPP) 0-1 272
So we'll get one of those clubs, or someone from our own division.

Draw is around 1pm. The Chronicle says we could get any of the following:
Altrincham Blyth Spartans Bradford (Park Avenue) Boston United Curzon Ashton Darlington Farsley Celtic Gateshead Guiseley Southport Spennymoor Town York City Thornaby or Ossett United 1874 Northwich Irlam Scarborough Athletic or Marske United Lancaster City or Northwich Victoria FC United of Manchester or Atherton Collieries Dunston UTS or Sunderland RCA Stockton Town Runcorn Town Warrington Town or City of Liverpool Whitby Town Tadcaster United or Ashton United Marine Trafford Pontefract Collieries South Shields or Colne Ramsbottom United Morpeth Town Witton Albion
I'd say the worst possible draw would be away at someone in our division like Boston or Gateshead. Best would be at home to a county level club like 1874 Northwich, Runcorn Town, Stockton or Irlam. Runcorn Town are only 9th in the NWCFL so if I could hand-pick a draw, it would be at home to them.

Home tie is what is needed because of the fantastic form.
A pay day for the club and with the way this team is playing it is an absolute terrible draw for Altrincham.
Last three home games Chester have scored 11 goals which will certainly worry the Altrincham defence.

Tadcaster Albion away with a tour of the Samuel Smiths brewery thrown in for good measure. Yeah and potentially be the victim of the giantkilling just so long as you get to sample few watered down beers. The mind boggles......

Can we just go one year without getting Southport or Altrincham 😩? Terrible draw but at least it is at home where we will have a much bigger advantage. Since the Alty game a few weeks ago we have improved so much, so hopefully we will bring our confidence into this.

Despite how well we've been doing, I can see it now, It'll be a draw then we'll get totally shitehoused in the away fixture. It's all going well at the moment but the Chester in me always expects the worst!

We need a good cup run, get some funds in for next year. So hopefully we can steam roll someone from Mopeth Town or something.

I was very nearly sick when I saw the draw, a rotten draw against a team we have played a million one times and never beat.
Easy home tie or away to a local away day isn't to much to ask surely one season surely.

Altrincham fan: ‘’With a first choice team out, we're better than them.’’ League table doesn’t suggest that 🤔.

No excuses for not winning this one. We know what to expect.

Can't agree with it being a terrible or boring draw. If they price it right should be 1,500 at least, based on our current form . . . and Alty will bring a few.

Surely we can attract at least 2000 for this. It's the FA Cup - the major domestic cup and potential money spinner. How fans can't get motivated for this I'll never know. Last 4 seasons have been so very disappointing on this front and surely better is to come this season.
