We were paid in instalments because I thought that's what we requested. Still no big deal. The point of this thread is laughing at goats ~~ so please get back on subject.

Hannibal, virtually all of us on here don’t need this thread to laugh at The Goats - recall all the Carry On team and let’s have “CARRY ON LAUGHING”

Its there own fault for giving rookie managers who only experience is in footgolf 3 year contracts giving Oswell who people remember wanted at Chester a big contract all adds up I'm afraid also think Flynn has far too much influence there but long may it continue Made £££S in compensation by taking gambles on both Keates and Ricketts the latter after only a few months in charge. for them 2 comes a failure doesn't work all the time you know

I did hear that he would have given the job consideration but two things stopped him . . . JM didn’t like the house on offer in Southsea and also his Polish insn’t too clever! “Always look on the bright side of life”

Phil Parkinson was mentioned by someone on Dead Passion as well (the ex-Bolton manager, not the one at Alty who would be a more realistic appointment). Delusion has reached new levels.

I find it all quite amusing tbh, their board had the perfect opportunity to bring in someone with experience twice last season when the league was there for the taking. They decided on both occasions to go with the cheap and easy option with Barrow and then Hughes and it’s backfired massively.
Hughes probably couldn’t believe his luck when he was given a 3 1/2 year contract, but anyone with half a brain could see that it was never going to end well. I don’t expect he’ll last beyond this month, but their board have only got themselves to blame for the mess they are in.

My perfect end to the 2019-20 season Chester promoted Wrexham relegated and England win the euros. I doubt England will win the euros so I will take that as an added bonus and in the words of meat loaf 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Fingers crossed it will happen and I call that karma for all the Wrexham fans that laughed at us when we got relegated, spread that round the team lets make it happen. We also have the Wrexham board onside while they continue to prolong the agony like we did, I guess they have been convinced by the manager results are coming. They might get some given the fixtures they have for the next three games but if not they are deep in the sh1t, tick tock tick tock.

Link doesn't work so I've copied and pasted below: CLUB STATEMENT | THE WREXHAM AFC BOARD OF DIRECTORS ISSUE A STATEMENT ON RECENT ON-FIELD PERFORMANCE & CURRENT LEAGUE POSITION POSTED:MON 16 SEP 2019 AUTHOR:CARL HOGAN Following on from a season in which we challenged for promotion and having retained many of the players who achieved the play off finish with Bryan Hughes (First Team Manager) at the helm in the last third of the season, the Wrexham AFC board of directors acknowledge that the club's current league position falls below par for expectations. The Board understands the frustration of fellow supporters which was evident at our last home game as do the players and management team who share the disappointment of our start to this campaign as they want to see us on course for a successful 2019/20 season. With that in mind, as a goodwill gesture, manager Bryan Hughes is keen to offer a 10% off Footgolf voucher to all Dragons supporters (must be used before October 31st 2019). The board of directors have held regular talks with Bryan to look to get our season back on track and everyone’s top priority is to quickly improve upon recent results. Bryan Hughes has the full backing of the players, club staff, the WST and Football Club boards to turn around our current situation and fore-go early form and putt us in a position whereby the club can challenge at the right end of the league table. Wrexham AFC recognise how our supporters fly the flag and always will. The players, staff and Bryan appreciate your support immensely and urge everyone to get behind the team on the pitch as they iron out their problems, knowing there's a fairway to go, to rectify our current situation. www.ukfootgolf.com/ QUOTE "YOZZER2022" for your 10% discount

Got to give Mr Hughes at least until Xmas/new year to finish the job. After all he's only halfway around the course.

Unless they have a Mark Robbins moment, it feels like they're delaying the inevitable.
