Are they still dragging their feet instead of preparing for life in the lower reaches. I've read the FA have backed Bury to be placed in the National League. That would be a total mockery if that was to happen, I can't see it though as another buyer has pulled out after looking at the Clubs accounts.
This was "fake news" spread by the odious opportunist MP James Frith. The FA have "backed" (if that really is the correct word) entrance to the National League SYSTEM, ie non-league. Which they would have done anyway. Bloody politicians! But its Bury FC about to be wound up in court today so no more talk about "National League for Bury" for a good while yet.

14 day stay of execution. As we know, it's the hope that kills... High Court now gives Bury a 35 day extension vs HMRC winding up petition Their lawyers seem to be claiming they might have paid a bit too much tax And so it goes on.........

Just read on the bbc sport site, that the NWCL have received an application from a newly formed club, Bury AFC to join the league for next season. The group of fans behind the formation of the phoenix club have confirmed they put in an application last week.

And today in the high court there winding up order was dismissed and the debts have been paid 🤷♂️ Believe it’s Cus they’re receiving some oayment from the premier league for some reason in January and dale wants to get that before he liquidates
