I’ll be happy if we avoid Southport, Altrincham, or anybody from the bloody North East. For what it’s worth, Matlock Town away is my prediction.

Level 8 team at home would be ideal. Colne are struggling at that level, although they've only played 7 league games, and they beat us pre-season!

Of the 35 teams we could draw, 21 of them are in our League. Only 14 of them aren't.
Seems a lot more difficult as a Northern team to progress.

You just couldn’t make it up. Having to go there once a season is bad enough but twice in less than a month - arghhhh!

Awful again, we've had some terrible luck with cup draws.
Out of the 22 NLN sides, only 6 are playing teams from a lower division. Completely agree that it's more difficult for the northern teams to progress.

Wow! reads like we've already lost the tie. After our tame effort in the FA Cup we need to go for this if only for the money on offer (although wouldn't mind a trip to Wembley if the lads can sort it for us). We need to get this crap of bogey teams, regional hoodoos, the last time we.... out of our psyche and look at every match, league or cup as an opportunity. No team has ever won a cup/trophy with a bye to the final, we've got to fight for it! Bet Brackley are wishing that they got an easier draw.

You couldn't have hand-picked a worse draw than that, except maybe Kings Lynn away.
Still, we need to roll up our sleeves and get on with it. I don't think we've ever lost there. Plus we could look at Altrincham who have had one tough away draw after another in the FA Cup and have made it to the Second Round.

All I ask is that we go there with the right attitude and that we don't send out the wrong message that we are 'focusing on the league' or 'resting players'. I don't want to hear about players missing the game with slight knocks or niggles, or that it's a chance to "give some of the lads on the fringes a run out". I still feel there was something not quite right about the whole approach to the Alty FA Cup game. It's not a great draw but nothing to fear from Brackley. We are one game away from a game vs the Goats, or a great away day to Notts County etc. There will be a few teams not taking this competition seriously, so ffs let's give it a go and you never know where it might take us. I'd fancy us at home against any team from the leagsue above. If the managers claim to "get" the club they should understand that we are starved of success and the Trophy is an opportunity. Our recent Cup record, frankly, is embarrassing. Oh, and if Bern and Jonno are going to throw in a few fringe players, can they please let us know in plenty of time so we don't have to bother going.

It’s a difficult draw that’s for certain. I wonder if they will decide to come up with the silly segregation again resulting in us not being able to access the bar and having to Put up portacabin toilets and no shelter from the rain. Anyway no doubt I shall see you there

We'll have no chance if we approach it in the same way that we approached the replay at Altrincham.

Anyway no doubt I shall see you there Funnily enough I was watching the highlights from Brackley’s 0-0 draw against Spennymoor last week (which was played a few days after our game), and they’ve actually installed a new terrace to the left hand side of the away end in that short space of time. I’ll be surprised if we take over 100 to this one so hopefully Brackley will have common sense this time to not put segregation in place. The 6 hour round-journey to an average ground isn’t loads to get excited about, but I’ll see you there. This will be my third visit to Brackley in just over a year so hopefully we’ll continue our unbeaten away record against them 👍. Attachments:

Mind you, those portaloos. 💩💩

Hopefully we will have access to the bar and decent toilets this time though. One of them didn’t even have any hand sanitizer last time, let alone water 🤣🙈.

Lack of hand sanitiser was the least of the problems after 90 minutes, believe me Rio.
