No more weird than you bringing your personal political comments onto a football forum? No more weird than you ending every comment with a question mark, even when it's not a question. If you bother to study english grammar then you might understand that a grammatical statement can end with a question mark in order to initiate a response? (Commas and full stops excepted.)

Funny how a number of posters have made remarks about this being a Chester forum, when somebody posts something about Liverpool. Yet we have other threads on Macc, Bury, Fort William and Ashville on the go, slightly further down the page, and not one person has remarked on this being a Chester forum on any of those. Because people are losing their heads over the team they've mocked for years, being on top of the world.

Effective if used sparingly maybe, not when it's 90% of what you say. Anyway, let's move on.

A question is intended to initiate a response (unless it is rhetorical) and always ends in a question mark. A statement doesn't end in a question mark even if it designed to get a response. Sorry.

It all seems to be a bit too easy for Liverpool this season on the domestic front. However, they appear to have struggled in Europe with Napoli beating them and getting a draw and a team named after an Energy Drink taking them close. That raises the question as to whether the Premier League is now falling behind the Italian, Spanish and German leagues in terms of quality and not all that is said to be. Everton have spent millions upon millions and they appear to be struggling and for all the monies spent by United they appear to be consistently inconsistent and the air invincibility of City has disappeared. Both European finals last season contested by all English clubs though may be a good argument against that. As much as i hate to say it, Liverpool deserve their title this season, they have been far and above anyone else in the PL. Man City seemed to have struggled this season, through injuries, but then when they are trying to buy the Premier league each season, i have no sympathy for them.

I think the key to Liverpool's success this season has been conserving their energy. Last season they were dishing out a lot of hammerings. This season, they're beating weak teams 1-0 and 2-0 without playing well, and saving their better performances for the likes of Man City and Leicester. And I don't think they're giving the Champions League the attention they normally do, with the Premier being their holy grail. We were a bit like that under Neil Young in the Conference North season actually. A lot of games we'd be 3-0 or 4-0 up at half time, but rather than running up a cricket score, we'd just play the second half out. When you're playing two games in a week, having 45 minutes like a training session can make a real difference. Surely even Liverpool can't blow it this time? They'd need Steven Gerrard to run on the pitch and slip over in every remaining game.

Liverpool definitely deserve to win the PL this season. My sons are Chester fans, but both support Liverpool too.

Happy Clapper Glyn closet kopite 🙄👏 I know Glyn..he's a lifelong supporter who puts his money into the club. Like many others he can be a fan of other clubs? Do not see the problem as long as our club receives his support and money ?

Maybe I expect more from the Premier League with the astronomical transfer fees and wages. Of the few games I have watched this season I have not seen the high quality that this expenditure should bring. Agree that Liverpool are head and shoulders above the rest of the league. They only need half a chance and they punish the opposition.
