Finally had an email today saying they are refunding me and it should show in my account within 7 days. I won't hold my breath. About three days mate if it runs the same as mine.

'Sadly, the demand for streaming this season for National League North and South matches has not been enough to warrant the continuation of the streaming provision in its current guise.'

Still think the NL were just kowtowing to "Ryan and Rob" and hoping to rake it in from a global audience. Once they went up the whole thing became a bit of a albatross for them.

'Sadly, the demand for streaming this season for National League North and South matches has not been enough to warrant the continuation of the streaming provision in its current guise.' Gutted if they reduce the number of Chester games shown. I expect it will be the home games they reduce coverage of as there would be demand I imagine for the away games. The service was just beginning to improve too, although no commentary at Chorley and they never bothered zooming in either, couldn't even see which players were on the ball half the time.

I'd have thought more likely to pick games where clubs with bigger followings like Hereford, Chester and Scunthorpe are playing away. Not so sure about home games though. If Chester were home tonight to Peterborough Sports, would they be confident enough in the demand? Not sure.

I see NLTV now have an option of pay £180.00 to screen at commercial premises. I wonder if that would be viable for the Blues Bar, if people are charged say a fiver each to come down and watch the game.

Could imagine a good crowd with a bit of notice and advertising. Could have Seals Live playing over the top also.

Would rather watch it in the Afghan mountains on a fire stick than go ‘the Cestrian’ on a non match day.

You aren’t helping the club out really though are you. The club don’t run the bar for obvious reasons. Helping the club out is boost the budget etc. paying money at the kiosks and the bar etc helps the club so minimally it is very much pointless

It’s the only reason I buy the odd pint in there. If we’re getting nothing then I probably won’t bother in future. It’s a crying shame the club can’t run it. 100% profit should be going to back into the club. I wonder if this is mainly down to that clown who ended up fleecing us for however much it was a few years ago.

Correct but it is fuck all isn’t it really. By the time you factor staff costs and profit margins etc the club gets very little. Not knocking it, I spend money in blues bar, just saying I don’t consider myself supporting the club through that method. Best way to support the club is with your money going to boost the budget season tickets etc.

Not too sure I'd fancy paying a fiver and driving down to the ground to watch it to be honest, when I can pay £4.50 more and watch from the comfort of my sofa with a few cans. Sadly that sort of idea will never take off because of location. If it was central to town or near the train station then people might be more tempted to make a night of it.

Just an observation on the streaming service. How can they justify charging the same for a no commentary stream like tonight at peterboro and the excellent offering from the Deva last weekend for the same? Although tbh I enjoyed all the effing and blinding from the touch line

Anybody know if we're streaming the game tomorrow? The NL Facebook page doesn't list our game.

3pm blackout doesn’t apply during an international break as prem and championship aren’t playing. Odd that we aren’t down for streaming must be because we are at home and not many stream Saturday home games

Doesn’t look we are on the TV today, however a few other NLN games are televised- Kings Lynn v Tamworth, Rushall v Darlo, Warrington v Scunny, Chorley v Boston, Hereford v Farsley but nothing on for Chester 😳
