So season ticket sales then. I’m in the fortunate position of being able to buy a season ticket but with the probability of only attending 2/3 home games. I want to get one for a child also, can anyone tell me if this is possible using the new ticket provider? Can only seem to buy one? Yes I’ve done it but it was a renewal. If it’s a new ticket I expect you’ll have to sign them up somewhere under your name Thanks

Rankles a bit that they’ve put prices up again but as I said last year, I’m sure they wouldn’t have done if they didn’t feel they had to. Just hope matchday admission prices aren’t increasing further.

Don't want to cause a storm - but if i'm not using my season ticket, i normally offer it to people who don't normally go to the match and i'd like to continue to do this. Just wondering whether this will be possible with the new digital version - is it just the case of forwarding a QR code ?

Cost of attempting to compete at this levels rising every season hardly a suprise the prices have gone up in fairness expect it to be the same every season.

Expected TBF. If we want to keep up we need to get more money in a £1-2 per match rise will bring in another 100k

How will the club ensure people buy the season ticket in the correct age category?

Renewed mine easily enough, but having had a belly full of a noisy minority behind the dugout deliberately trying to get under Calum’s skin in a desperate bid for attention, me and the boys have gone back to basics in the Harry Mac. Can’t wait.

Can’t wait. I sit in the area behind the dugout and there is very little negative comments towards Cal, the odd one or two but if it was any other manager then there would have been loads. The quality of football at home over the past two seasons has been generally poor and doubt many will disagree. Not sure why you needed to bring this up in a message on how easy it was to renew your season ticket.

Can’t wait. Shush Bryn, remember there’s no negative from the stands. There has been negativity from all parts of the ground this season, booing from the Harry Mac when performances and results have gone against us. Everyone has the right to express their opinion, what shouldn’t happen is management reacting to it. As Cal ( hopefully) progressed in management then the highs will be higher and lows much lower than in his time to date at Chester. Just look at the booing and negativity at Chelsea for their manager.

I did mine & my lad’s renewals this morning, mega simple & saving the club a few £ by not having to produce (as many) physical tickets is a bonus too. The fact I don’t have to make sure I remember to bring them now I’ve got them on my phone helps as well.

Everyone will want one retrospectively printed this time next year as a memento from our 24-25 title winning season. The smart people are just getting in early.

Don't want to cause a storm - but if i'm not using my season ticket, i normally offer it to people who don't normally go to the match and i'd like to continue to do this. Just wondering whether this will be possible with the new digital version - is it just the case of forwarding a QR code ? This can be done. Not 100% sure on the best way, but there’s definitely a way!

Not 100% sure on the best way, but there’s definitely a way! It all depends on what technology is used via the reading of the ticket. I've been to stadiums where a copy of the QR code is enough to gain access, however I've been to other stadiums where NFC technology is used and a copy of the QR code wont work, as the ticket reader used at the stadium needs to communicate with the phone the actual ticket is stored on. If NFC is used, the clubs normally have a system in place where you can forward your ticket on to another persons phone for the game in question that you cannot make.

I've been to a stadium in Europe where to sign up for the fan card they take a scan of your palm on both hands, then the ticket is linked to your fan card, and to gain access you put your fan card into a reader, and your palm.

Wouldn't be a fan of businesses holding biometric data. I know there'd be no harm with us as a community club, but it's the principle.

Good idea but the NLN can’t even get a referee who knows what a foul is. Few years time, maybe

Would rather our kiosks serve edible food before we start having robots at the turnstiles
