Another string to our bow. Let's hope he regularly hits the target! Good luck Jordan.

Interesting. Much-needed but I do wonder where we are getting the money from for these new signings. Wonder if some of the bigger earners might be on their way out? Or perhaps that is just wishful thinking! I like the fact we are signing bright talents from lower down the leagues. To a degree it is a gamble but at the same time it's just the type of model we should be following. Giving players an opportunity, developing them and then hopefully selling them on further down the line. Good luck lads! Bignot is a master at these type of signings. Just look at Bogle, Asante, Obsborne etc...

2 good signings from Bignot. Jordan Archer is a bright player from lower down who can score goals and even attracted the likes of Tranmere. Meanwhile, Jordan Gough has a little bit of experience of this league and has played under Marcus Bignot before. I’m glad that Marcus is freshening our squad up by bringing in some players who hopefully can perform, rather than sticking with this mess. Well done to him so far. Welcome to Chester FC Jordan and Jordan! 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️

I've just been told they've both signed and not on loan not what ive been told
your sources are as solid as tomato sauceFrom OWS Jordan Gough arrives from AFC Telford – as well as striker Jordan Archer from Stourbridge. Gough arrives on a deal until the end of the season, and is no stranger to Marcus Bignot – being part of the Manager’s Solihull Moors side that won the National League North title in the 2015-16 season. The 27-year-old spent four years at Solihull – having arrived from Gresley where he won their Player of the Year award three seasons in a row. He has also had a spell at Brackley before joining the Bucks this summer. The highly rated 24-year-old Archer has had interest from National League level – as well as a trial at Walsall back in August – and has now taken the decision to join Marcus Bignot’s Blues. The striker has signed a deal at the Swansway until 2019. Standing at 6ft 3in, the forward has already registered nine league goals in the Evo-Stik Premier this season. Jordan joined the Glassboys from Bedworth United in November 2016 – and his impressive performances have seen him gain significant interest from clubs higher up the English pyramid. Welcome to Chester FC, Jordan and…Jordan! It appears your sauces are of the tomato kind

Lets hope that Marcus Bignots attempt to go full time, is a ploy to flush out some high wage underachievers and replace them with younger more physical players, who are up for the fight.

I’m not surprised to see MB bringing in new faces to freshen us up at all. I won’t be able to make the game tomorrow night due to work commitments. I will be interested to read what people think of the two new signings after tomorrow’s very important game. As has been mentioned you wonder if he has seen more than enough of some already and may well be looking to offload some who can’t or are not keen on the full time model. I have witnessed what he has previously gone and done bringing players on from lower down and bringing them on. I think it’s important we judge him after he has got a side which we assume he wants rather than a lot of the rubbish he has inherited. Fingers crossed for tomorrow night.

There's a few video clips of Jordan Archer scoring on the Stourbridge website. Seems pretty good in the air (2 headers against Marine). I searched via Google videos. Stourbridge seem to show each shot and goal as separate videos. One cracking long distance shot (goal) on the run. Looks raw but bags of potential..

These are the exact type of players we should have been looking to sign, lads who will bust a gut and put in, physical, strong and who knows if they work out we could make some money. You do need a bit of experience but McCarthy has signed up to many who are here for an easy pay day.

Good luck lads, welcome to the club. However I do have some concerns as to whether these young lads are experienced enough and know what is required. We are 3rd from bottom and in deep 💩 It's going to be a fight. Once again good luck Gough is 27, I don't see that as young in football terms

You don't want a team of them though. It's tough for a striker to move up two divisions into a poor team, and do well. But he seems to have the physical attributes we need, and has been on other clubs radar. That's a good start. Welcome Jordan and Jordan!

We need a big forward who’s good in the air as well, haven’t seen us win many headers in the opposition box so far this season.

With MB signing these players and MM sanctioning them, I see our favourite WUM has disappeared while, a win tonight and hopefully he will have gone for good.

It'll be interesting to see if he throws both lads in tonight. I suspect he will. Gough is nailed on to start, I'd be amazed if he's not at left back with LRT pushed further on. I'd see if Zanzala is any good on the right wing, and stick Shaw and Dawson in the middle. Archer and one of Hannah/Akintunde (if fit) to start up top. Time to give James a bit of a kick up the arse and leave him on the bench, his attitude was questionable on Saturday and looks like he's having a bit of a sulk. I like James, and he was one of our better players earlier in the season, but it doesn't look like he's enjoying playing for Bignot. I have some sympathy given that he's been moved around in different positions a lot, but its no excuse for sulking and not grafting.
