Any feedback from the other two mods, 3mm? Quite a few of us have received lifetime bans for "jumping ship" and barely posting on Oldco DC since Newco DC formed. I guess that doesn't matter because we're all posting on this one now anyway but it would still be nice to know why this is happening.

Quite a few of us were met by an auto-message with basically a lifetime and afterlife-time ban (based on the ridiculous year it ends). I know we hadn't actually posted on there pretty much since this forum opened and, in the cases of me and Al, no reason was given. |

I was banned over 2 years ago and stood no chance of getting back in. Really pleased this forum has been set up and at the moment it's thriving - plenty of post match chat going on. Good work fellas.

I didn't break any rules. In theory, yes. In practice, the mods don't tread on each others toes, it's an unwritten rule and it's always been that way. Believe me, myself and another mod have raised several issues behind the scenes but it is very hard to get any response from the board admins. I recently asked a question (copied below) which is self explanatory. Will I get a reply? Well, the board admins have only made 1 post on Devachat since April 2016, although one does view the site. How posting on this website can be seen as breaking the Conditions of Use on the other one, I'm not sure. But it seems that is becoming the rule these days. Can't be right, can it? I'm also curious as to whether other mods on Devachat read this website, and if I get banned for speaking out of turn (it is a possibility), I'll know for sure. |

Possibly, although one overseas mod (you work it out) has said to me he has no intention of visiting this website, which rules him out if you believe that. I think that's a shame too, as he's a keen fan and follows what happens to our club with great interest. You'd be surprised. I should just add that I am in no way a spokesperson for Devachat, I'm just making observations as I personally see things. Only the board admins can set board policy and direction. |

Devon Blue isn't Tracey Smith. She is / was friendly with him. I believe Devon Blue is an exiled supporter who suffers with his health. I've had dealings with him in the past (old ISA days) and he was a thoroughly pleasant chap. Mind you if I have ever learned a lesson during my couple of stints working at CFC I would probably call it "Power Corrupts" |
