What can the board do to reassure fans it has the best interests of the club at heart? I ask this because the blind backing of Jon M suggests otherwise!! Or something similar

After the start to last season most fans seemed pleased that JM was signed up (maybe two seasons was too long in hindsight!). Why would any fans volunteer their own time and open themselves up to the potential of some pretty severe criticism if they did not have the best interests of the club at heart? Many clubs will far more resources than us make mistakes with managers just look at the premier league.

Why are we missing a trick by not more heavily publicising Home matches, doing special offers, having half time entertainment, etc and making the whole thing more of a spectacle. We need more bums on seats and the dosh that brings to bolster the squad as the team seem to be falling like flies at the minute and once injured they never seem to come back in less than a month.

Fair points however the gripe I have is that it was obvious that something was very wrong at the end of last season. Yet several applauded that display. I still feel that action should of been taken in April. It’s frustrating who knows what may of happened over the summer if someone else would have spent the budget? Agreed May were happy with the recruitment on paper. Regarding the board of course it’s a thankless job and a hiding to nothing potentially. Yes we all make mistakes. I just feel that this was so glaringly obvious and could and should have been avoided. Still we are in the position we are in and appear to be slowly heading in the right direction under MB. I hope we do not run out of games as he attempts to keep Us in the conference.

I hope questions are to coin a Marcus Bignot favourite, about the here and now, and about the future rather than getting bogged down in recriminations about what has past. Yes mistakes were made, but they always will be, it's in the uncertain nature of football management both on and off the field. If it was that easy .....someone would still top the league and someone would still get relegated.

Q: Are there any plans to investigate a 4G pitch at the Deva (eg funded from any bus station £££s, grant funding, etc?). Would be invaluable for practice (given the growing number of plastic pitches in our league) and a valuable source of income from renting it out for third party/community use.

Looks the the only long-term usage of the ground/facilities we've got planned is a Stagecoach depot! Certainly worth asking if we have explored other revenue avenues.

Any chance someone from the board who is on here can note these questions down and read them out with answers on Thursday. I am sure some people who have posted questions will not be in attendance.

1) What is the running total for Bignot's fund and would it be more if we knew what happened to Burr's fund? 2) As part of the deal for letting Stagecoach use us as a depot, can we have free advertising in the buses for home matches? 3) Why are the injured players taking so long to recover? Can we send them to a specialist? 4) Can we take the seats out of the away end to increase capacity? If not, why not?

Given that by Thursday it will have been 136 days since James Alabi signed for Tranmere, what is the current situation, has a date been set for a transfer tribunal - if not why not?

What effort is being made to look after sponsors who have invested in the club. As a life-long fan, my business has sponsored matches on numerous occasions over the past three seasons yet I feel we have been forgotten about. Since the end of last season we have heard nothing from the club. We don't sponsor the games to make money. We do it because I love the club and want to support them, but I feel there is nothing in return.

What are the current projections for our accounts ending 2017/18 taking into account the comings and goings in playing personnel, and the firing and hiring of the first team manager?
What steps are the Operations and CFU Boards taking to minimise any potential loss come the end of the season?
What fundraising initiatives are being planned/have been planned to cover this shortfall?
How much money does the current Seals Lottery, 50/50, Squadbuilder initiatives bring in per season?
What is our marketing and advertising strategy?

Also would like to add:
Regards plans from Stagecoach to build a new depot on part of our car park:
- will the football club receive any income from the sale of or lease of the land for said depot.
- have the club been consulted by the council regards this planning application, and if so what is the boards stance on this application (as we have heard nothing official from either CFU or Operations Board regarding this application).
- What plans do the club have regards existing car park users, and also will existing holders of a 'Car Park Season ticket' be in line for a refund if their paid for space is taken by this new development.
Please also outline your portfolios as members of the board, each give an overview of your role and responsibilities are members of the board, and provide updates on your roles so that your performance can be assessed accordingly.

Some good points, but i thought the stagecoach plans wouldn't have any impact on our current car parking spots and so no refunds would be necessary? Could be wrong. I'd be interested to know: We've offered two young strikers 'long term' contracts recently, how is this being funded given the sacking of a manager and signing of some experience players on two year contracts. Are we still looking to offload some players if they find the right clubs in order to cater for these deals, or are we using money from the budget? Also how has the decision come about to offer the two players deal, have they been training with us for several weeks? (Someone may already know that?) Just in response to a question above, i think taking seats from the away end to increase capacity would be board-line ridiculous. We literally never fill the away end or the home end for that matter. That would be throwing money down the drain.

What is the strategy regard the "Bignot's Budget" initiative?
We were told a running total would be on the main club website - hasn't happened. Why?
Last week we were informed that the fund was at £2,000. What are your plans to drive that in the coming weeks?

I've sent most of the above onto Neil Bellis and asked him to put these questions to the board tonight.
Let's see what they come back with.

Virtually all the questions posed on here are highly valid and deserve answering. Quite a lot of them however are CFU "business" questions and perhaps more appropriate for the more formal CFU meetings. As said elsewhere I expect most of questions tonight will be directed towards Marcus and on field issues. Unless the questions posed here are actually asked either in person or by direct contact with the board/CEO then don't expect you can reasonably expect an answer tonight. Hope as many of the questioners as possible, CFU members or not, get along tonight as this is a great way of showing constructive support of this initiative. Hope to see a good turn out and positive forward thinking debate.

Right so the question about accounts projection was asked and didn't get an answer. No figure given about what the probjected shortfall is.
Stagecoach was answered during the meeting. Club in negotiations with them over the plans. We will benefit from any development, what that means in terms of cash though, not yet revealed.
More debate on price of coffee amongst the CFU meeting attendees than what we're doing to advertise and market games.
Seems DMCNALLY is the saviour for getting kids in lol

That’s most disappointing that a question about the accounts protection didn’t get an answer. I shall wait for further info before saying anymore on the matter. I would be very grateful if someone could post a summary of the meeting on here.

Didn't MM say exactly the same about the Database data collection months and months ago when we did the free tickets for schools initiative? And also the online ticketing we did last season? How come we've not used it yet to advertise the shit out of the club, games, Junior Blues etc etc etc
