I know we are in a dog fight this season. Well some are we haven’t shown enough yet to be convinced that we want to relish this battle on our hands. It’s a difficult one isn’t it. Should we concentrate entirely on the league? Are we desperate for income? Yes. So personally I feel we should have a go. If we can beat Moors and AFC Fylde it would give us a boost going into the crucial xmas period. We shall know how things stand enforce the January sales come around.

It's the sort of game we'll get eliminated in. Remember Barrow in this round of the Trophy? Bottom of Conference North and they came here and won 2-0 with a loanee called Carver scoring both. I thought Seddon scored really early on in the game? Before they turned it round. Remember leaving to loud boos. Minutiae.

Tie will be settled on the day Yeah, we'll lose! Seriously, a good thing to ditch replays in the Trophy I think.

Well the thing is they haven't ditched them as such - they've given clubs the option on a game-by-game basis! Very strange. We could see some decided on the day and others go to replays - presumably the ties where tiny lower non league clubs are drawn against the likes of Tranmere and Wrexham (payday).

Fylde drawing against Wigan has probably helped us. I think them winning the replay would be the best result for us as that would make the FA Trophy more of a distraction for them.

As they will more than likely lose the replay they will probably be more up for it as a consolation so will no doubt work against us

The words clutching and straws come to mind here. No offence intended. Should also mean it's more difficult to fit in our rearranged game before Christmas. Giving us more time to get injured players back. That's clutching straws with both hands.
