Just been listening to the Jeremy Vine BBC2 radio programme up here in Scotland. He interviewed this lady who is the current wife of our most successful former manager. The 2 of them were the first responders at the fire near the Liverpool Echo Arena in the multi-storey car park. The fire started in an old Land Rover and at first the fire seemed containable. Sue Wright was aware that there were horses in imminent danger and found a policeman, who reacted in that all to familiar way, which was said they were not in any danger. She disagreed and made a way to where they were being stabled and organised the young stable lads and lasses to bridle them up and get them to safety. She sounded a really competent person and but for her assertive action some of those horses might have perished. My thought during all of this was I wonder what Mark is doing these days, but I suspect he wouldn't be welcome back. Just a thought, because we are up to our necks in shite.

Isn't he along the lines of Director of Football at Vaughan-inspired Southport?

When I looked him up on Wiki I was surprised to see he's still only 54 and described as retired.
