My post was tongue-in cheek. I accepted we were down after the Guiseley double header. We've taken 0.5 points per game over the past 10 games. It's been the most depressing season for me since I started in 1960. I will be renewing my season ticket and just try to get some enthusiasm back as England carry off the World Cup. (Joke in case anyone thought I was demented).

Thanks Jeff for your info. This is the wrong approach. Keeping us in the dark about the price? Two prices? It's all wrong. We have a club that needs running and the price of the season ticket is to keep our club alive. We have two? Let’s simplify this you are going to watch a concert whoever your favourite group is or a tribute act, you don’t know which one it will be but you have to pay big bucks just in case it’s the real thing but it’s likely it’s going to be the tribute. This is a great example. Total what I am trying to say. The concert you refer to will have a cost to run, set-up and sell. The pricing for the concert is set for our favourite group . In our case the best team . The more money that is spent on ticket sales means the better chance of seeing our favourite group. I'm being told we have two prices? One for our favourite group, and one for the tribute band. This season feels like we are watching the tribute band

Even when released season tickets sales will be slow until the fans know what’s happening with the manager and what players are retained or signed

Supporters will expect a price reduction in the North version after a relegation. 23 games at £18 /£15 or 21 games at £15 /£12. I reckon there maybe a £50+ difference in prices. It's a big difference in overall price. That's ignoring any offers or reductions that the board may be offering to bump up sales. Announce them a day or so after relegation confirmed, and up for immediate sale. That will be mid April the way we are going. Soon enough for you?

Honestly I don't see what the problem is.
We are going to be relegated, that's a fact.
Release the reduced prices now and start shifting them asap
10 pound terrace = 200 pound season ticket for Harry mac
12 pound seating = 240 pound season ticket for all other stands.
Concessions and kids in for a lot less. Especially the kids. They should get a goodie bag full of stuff they can share with their friends on signing up. 50 pound season tickets for kids? Why not

It's still March and people are flapping that our season ticket prices aren't out. What an odd bunch of supporters we have.

I'm not moaning, far from it. Just struggling to see how anyone can seriously think we are staying up. But it is what it is, providing the board act as soon as it's mathematically impossible to stay up we should be able to shift a fair few before the season ends

Crikey, wish some would just chill out.
Last thing I care about right now is buying a season ticket for next season! I'm still trying to get my head around what happened/is happening this season.
When the Club is ready with everything set in stone, they will do what they have to do, I now trust those in charge. But they at least need to know for certain what League we will be in and it would be utterly wrong for them to announce prices for a national league North campaign before we are mathematically relegated. Until then, get down to the stadium and do everything we can to get people through the gates and support the current team to possibly get a goal/point or two before the end of the season.
The excitement of match day still lives for me and looking forward to a pint in the Blues Bar as usual.

Anymore than this and I don’t think I’d be able to justify the expense and will have to start picking and choosing games. A combination of personal circumstances and value for money, plus the ‘dougie’ factor has to be taken into account. I definitely need to find a different seat next season.

They may as well release them now, anyone who thinks we will stay up are deluded True, but you'd only get people complaining that the "club have accepted its fate without fighting 'til the end' etc, etc. the majority of fans did that last september when the club appointed the useless one

Why not Tend to agree that those prices more appropriate for this level of football. However, every other club charges £15-19 for a seat, and £14-16 to stand. They've also got owners that fund the club, unlike us. Question we don't know the answer to is - Would that increase our sales? What happens to our budget if the season ticket sales aren't increased by the price reduction? That would mean either a really low starting budget, meaning a lower quality of player being approached, or committed to overspending our budget putting us back in the brown stuff. It's a difficult balancing act.

Just to get this thread back on track after the homoerotic ramblings of bethnal blue...
The only thing the board can do is bring the club back to the fans by presenting us with the pricing structure we rejunivanted the club with back in 2010.
We will shift more season tickets with this strategy and there will be a feel good factor next season.
The proof is in the attendance figures which declined everytime a price hike was introduced.
Our club, our community, it's all about the fans. Give them a realistic entry fee and they will return

On that note we won't have a club at the end of next season?

I will be getting one if the prices and deals being bandied about are correct. The future of football within the city is at stake here. We all need to move on and support the club.
