Bangor City have licence to play in Welsh Premier next season refused today.
Likely approved on appeal alongside Connahs Quay but who knows.
They currently have Stephen Vaughan Snr as a sponsor or something, Vaughan Sports Management on the shirts, Stephen Jnr as director of football, and plenty of team building trips to Malta.

When is that fat club killing bastard going to stop? It’s surprising that people with a well known history still manage to con enough people in order to get a foot in the door and do it all again. Maguire springs to mind in similar regard.

Maguire springs to mind in similar regard. When he came to us someone in football rang me to warn me he had destroyed Barrow. Our fans didn't want to know...it's sad to say but fans are very fickle as a bunch....

When is that fat club killing bastard going to stop? When he’s either put behind bars or best still dead.

But hang on, I thought he had no involvement in the running of the club? So how come the purple faced one is hosting a meeting?

The Vaughans must be the most prolific club wreckers around. All five sports clubs they've been involved with (us, Barrow, Widnes Vikings, Floriana and now Bangor) have ended up in some sort of disarray like administration or being kicked out of leagues.
Surely the authorities need to wise up a bit? Vaughan Jr. has a criminal record and was technically our owner when we were wound up, so he's not a fit and proper person to be their director of football. Who are 'Vaughan Sports Management'? What do they do? Where's their website? What's their motivation for wanting to sponsor Bangor City? They're exploiting obvious loopholes where everyone knows they're involved but can't prove it, but even if there's a suspicion of someone with a track record like they have of being involved, they need to be a lot more proactive and vigilant than they are. Bangor are a good, proud club and this just brings shame on them and the Welsh League.
Can't get behind people saying they wish they were dead, but the world would be a better place without them. The only way they seem to be know how to live is by making money out of the misery of other people.

Every sympathy but they had enough evidence to go on to know what they were letting themselves in for. Lobster has provided the list above.
As always, it's the fans who pay.

Sounds familiar, I remember when the Deva was first built we were told it was built in such a way as to make ground expansion really easy when we reached new hieghts in the football pyramid!!

Notice that Bangor have a "Testimonial" match on Tuesday for Alan Lewer to celebrate his 30 years in football vs Liverpool u23's. Advert says all proceeds go to into club funds, so how does that work? Sounds more like a Vaughn Sports Management testimonial.

Maguire springs to mind in similar regard. A couple of years ago he was interested in Oldham Athletic. I felt it important that I joined their fans forum and informed them of what he did to our club and that Sammy Lee is SV’s son-in-law. It didn’t take long before their fans understood what the Vaughan’s are about. It seems that their chairman at the time listened to the fans and didn’t sell. I was also in dialogue with someone from the Maltese FA a few years previously and the subject of SV came up

They were taken in with the promise of a new stand. Sounds familiar, I remember when the Deva was first built we were told it was built in such a way as to make ground expansion really easy when we reached new hieghts in the football pyramid!! That was down to Morrison Shand, who also broke a lot of promises.
