I take it that you as a season ticket holder will be putting an £18 donation to the club this weekend? You have 5 matches for free this season. I find it rather disheartening to witness supporters of a fan-owned club arguing over the suggestion they should fund the club (within affordability of course). Nobody else is going to. And I don’t appreciate people telling me to donate the admission fee just because I’m not going.

Huge difference between telling someone to do something and suggesting that someone does something. Think the original post was a suggestion to which you took offence to.

You can only put your hand in your pocket so much.
Normally I would not have contributed as much as I did, but did because this club has been in my blood for 58 years.
It was a spontaneous thing for me. After I gave I thought to myself I'm helping to pay the severance pay of one of the main causes of this mess. I want this club to survive, but I want it run in a better way than it has been for the past 4 or 5 years.

Carrying on with the youth theme... Academy players will be getting their annual parade around the pitch - they deserve a good turn out.

I think the point is, people don't want to be told when or how much to donate. If people want to donate they will. For or the record I won't be attending Saturday (work commitments) or will I be donating the entrance fee, so if either of the holier than thou duo of "sumo" or "happyclapper52" wish to contribute on my behalf, I'm more than happy with that.

I’m going to watch The Streets in Manchester so making a day of it. Don’t feel guilty missing this as we’re obviously down and I’ve done 28 games home and away this season. Will be giving my season ticket away.

Looks like no sort of promotions forthcoming to try and get a few in?? This is the proverbial 'dead rubber' with them safe and us down. Hopefully a few more than the 754. I'll be there to see it through and as Calum hinted at a start for young Nathan Brown with any luck. Not a dead rubber for Maidstone. I make it they could still be relegated, although it's unlikely. Woking have to win both their remaining games to have any chance of catching them.

A good idea and one we should be looking to do and hammer next season but it’s all about getting it out there so people sit up and take notice. Tough at the moment I appreciate a losing team with a losers mentality and it’s hard to get people on board.
Why can’t in future we get this out say two weeks before a game? Give the floating fans chance to attend, a lot of people would probably have made plans for this weekend.

I can appreciate why many have decided to stay away in recent weeks, but sincerely hope that all will return for our final home match irrespective of what's gone before. We must support and congratulate all our youth team players and give them a huge "thumbs-up" for helping us to remain sane over the past few weeks but most importantly say a huge "thankyou" to Calum for his achievements with our youth teams and give him the genuine support he deserves in his last home managerial experience with our 1st team! "Come on the Lads"!
