In our situation, maybe. Let's be honest nobody would shirk at £75k for the war chest and in all fairness, if they didn't call it significant it may come across badly to the potential investor. £75,000 or whatever is not significant investment to a business with a million pounds or so turnover. Will be far more than that IMO You seem to have an idea of who it could be? 🤔

Whoever the mystery investor might be, you would imagine they or their representative would be at tonight's meeting. If they have not been present previously, and have only witnessed the positivity of the fund raising efforts, don't let us put them off by our actions tonight. If like me you have concerns about some of the recent actions and forward plans of some, then constructive forward looking questioning and suggestions are surely more appropriate. Board members come and board members go, now is not the time for a witch hunt.

Crucial the investor remains anonymous as per their wishes.

Dont Agree with the Bar Extention, Theres no point atm considering Dougherty and Allen Pocket almost everything from it, We could really do with fucking them off they're only here for one reason and thats to make money from us, The food they serve up is utter shite too one the worst in non league personally don't beleive for a second we couldn't afford to cater ourselves considering teams with way less money then us in non league manage to do it and atleast they make money from it unlike us Sorry but, if you're prepared to dish out some shite you're going to get it back. Been pointed out loads on here that we split the profits 50/50 with D&A so your first point is bollocks. Second, food utter shite? I've heard nothing but praise for the standard of their food. D&A do all our food upstairs, they provide waiting on and bar staff also downstairs saving us £££££. So yeah, before you go shooting your mouth off about a valuable partnership, engage yer fucking brain if you have one Christ 😂, And the food is shite inside the ground like I've stated fair enough might be good inside the legends lounge that's great but every fan I've ever spoke to has said we have the worst food in non league

What about "Goals" opposite the ground? Haven't they cornered the market?

What about "Goals" opposite the ground? Haven't they cornered the market? As I’ve said elsewhere their pitches aren’t exactly big enough for a full team to train on. Looking further afield for other competition across Chester you’ve got the likes of Christletom High School’s 4G pitch. We’ll need to do our research and offer competitive prices but no reason why it can’t be a good money making if done correctly.

Think the 3G pitch as a revenue generator ship might have sailed with Goals now across the road from the ground. Difficult for football teams to train on those tiny pitches so building one or two large pitches would still have major value. I said as a revenue generator.

There are lots worse. Ours could be better but it's perfectly fine. Tea for £1 and the Chester pie is always decent - no complaints from me.

Yes and we can offer something goals don’t do, and offer a large full size pitch. This will atract plenty of football teams who don’t use goals.

Will be far more than that IMO That's the problem though, £1m or so turnover, how much profit? An investment worth 10% of your annual turnover would be significant to a business making a loss. At the end of the day, the club aren't going to announce an investment as 'small' if its nearing 6 figures from someone who's not expecting any form of ownership. Don't get me wrong, i think we are potentially talking much bigger numbers than £75-100k, but i'm saying that that sort of money would have to be called significant for a business in our current poor financial position.

I think a tenner would be called significant in our current poor financial position.
