Arms sales to Israel should clearly be suspended in light of recent events.
The fact that the UK abstained from the UN Human Rights Council vote to launch an international investigation is an appalling indictment of this Government and country.
We called on Israel to complete its own investigation. Truly disgraceful. Netanyahu, under criminal investigation for corruption, should be able to have his own investigation.

The complete epitomisation of a rogue state. A nuclear weapons state led by an extremist which is neither a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty nor the International Criminal Court, is in breach of more UN resolutions than North Korea and shows a wanton disregard for international and humanitarian law.
Just imagine a Muslim country imprisoning 1.8 millions Jews in a tiny open-air prison, documented to be purposefully keeping their economy at the lowest possible level to avoid a humanitarian crisis and then picking them off with snipers when they try to protest - don't you think the reaction might be somewhat different?
The disgraceful reactions from organisations such as the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Labour Friends of Israel, which both horrendously victim-blamed those who died in completely absolving Israel of any blame, were a mark of shame for all of the people they claim to represent.

On Friday, an American-Israeli member of the Israeli Defence Forces shot 21-year old Palestinian paramedic Razan al-Najar in the chest with a sniper bullet whilst she was tending to the injured. Article 24 of the Geneva Convention states that "medical personnel exclusively engaged in... treatment of wounded shall be respected & protected in all circumstances." Another innocent life lost at the hands of the brutal Israeli regime. How can any self-respecting Jew, or human being for that matter, defend these actions?
It repulses me that there are such organisations as the Labour and Conservative Friends of Israel. What, exactly, do they think they are the friends of?

Can anybody explain the difference between what the Nazis did to the Jews and what the Israelis are doing to the Arabs? The majority of Jewish people you speak to in this country and around Europe don't seem to agree with what the Israeli government is doing, so is it a religious thing or a cultural thing or just a land grab? The saddest thing is that it was the UK which created this problem back in 1948 when they stole another country's land to give to them.

The actions of the Israeli Government toward Palestine and their people is beyond abhorrent.
Here's a question for everyone, if a foreign power did to us what we (and others) did to the people of Palestine in 1947 and we were now in the same situation as the Palestinians are in, what would you do? How would you feel?
