Who is getting down on Sunday?
Our Youth Team are playing their final game of the season on Sunday at our ground. This youth team has been unbelievable this season and has ensured that fans have kept the faith in our club. There has been so much negativity around the team this season and these lads have been brilliant. The youth team lads showed on Wednesday that they get the club fully with them singing along with fans after the game. If we can get 300 on a Wednesday Night in Birmingham then we should get a lot more on Sunday with the weather hoping to be nice.
Lets give this team one last send off!!

If we win this then did we win every competition we entered this season except the National League?

Looks like it. Even the U16s won their cup.

A reminder about tomorrow's game at the Swansway. The will be the last time this particular group of Youth players play together with a victory clinching the NWYA Open Cup Final.
All support is appreciated. Admission is £5 for adults and £2 for children. ALL money taken on the gate will go to Chester FC.
Kick off is 2.30pm against a side that beat our lads in last seasons Cheshire FA Youth Cup Final.

Might get a few more down there if they put it on the website.
Not everyone uses Twitter. If it wasn't for Deva-Chat I wouldn't have known either.

Unfortunately I can’t attend tomorrow’s game. Went to Walsall on Wednesday evening and witnessed a very good and entertaining game between two committed sides. All of the caoching and support staff involved with the youth and junior teams deserve a big pat on the back. For a fan owned club this is the future. The names of those that have been involved with the first team squad have been mentioned but there are a number of others who are very promising. Good luck to the lads tomorrow and thank you to all of the volunteers that support both the youth and junior set ups and the club in general

Some kicking off on the pitch & one of their coaches got into a slanging match with (presumably) the dad of one of our lads. Referee needs to make sure he gets a grip of the game second half. I think they’re just getting wound up because they’re getting battered tbh.

Iwan Murray was excellent. His dead balls are a joy to watch after watching the first team hit the first man time and time again. He has got to be worth a pro deal surely? Send him out on loan for a few months to break him into mens football a la Crawford at Runcorn.
Lloyd Marsh-Hughes and Alex Downes also very good today. I think Marsh-Hughes got a hat trick.
What a fantastic season they've had, very well done to the lads, Cal and his staff.

Yet another terrific display today which capped off a remarkable season, with us winning FIVE trophies. Iwan Murray, Rhain Hellawell and Lloyd Marsh-Hughes stood out today, although the whole team was superb. They performed really well in front of a decent crowd and fully deserve all of the silverware that they have achieved this campaign. Our future is definitely bright with this group of players and I’m looking forward to next season. Hopefully a few can break through to the first team! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🔵⚪️

Thoroughly deserved win. The team displayed tenacity, togetherness, and no little skill in an at times feisty encounter. 3-0 to the young blues at half time flattered Heswall but credit to them as well as they never gave up and deserved some reward for their efforts on a hot afternoon.

Really enjoyed the game today more effort than i have seen all season team wise . Fair play to Heswall like a lot of sides on the wirral/merseyside they have a will to win and were up for the fight The big lad at the back caught the eye , no17 ? never gave up . But credit to our lads we had to much up front for them and I know they are young lads but fitness levels are superb. Well done Chester Youth.

I really do hope we can offer as many of these young lads first year pro deals as we possibly can.
This is exactly the sort of reason we should ring-fence the squad builder money for the first year pro's. Be disappointing to see some of those lads leave

I thought Cain Noble had a good game as well, really effective player & does a fantastic job of winding the opposition up. Took his booking without complaint as well.

I've only seen him in the Maidstone game but he looked a real player. Not remotely out of his depth and his goal was the moment of the season. I'd certainly hope he and Thomson get kept on next year.

A very good game. Both teams gave everything. Chester were more clinical. We have some very talented kids coming through. Shame Heswall had to spoil a very good day.
