It is our 7th year in existence today. We've had some memories to treasure so far and let's hope we have just as many in the future. Happy birthday fellow blues. 🔵⚪

A day to reflect and look at how far we've come in what is a short space of time. Now is the time to push the club forward, using YOUR help; join the CFU, purchase your season ticket [soon] etc... FAN POWER WILL DRIVE US FORWARD! #AreYouWatchingStephenVaughan

It's seven years today since Chester City were wound up, which isn't the same as when the club reformed. Think that officially happened in May 2010.

We've trod water for the past 3 years.
Seriously ... unless Mark McGuire can bring in some serious investment, which I doubt, we'll be lucky to survive in this league for more than 2 or 3 years.

Are you taking the piss here or No .. just my opinion! Only 11 years since Wrexham Football Club was formed. Wrexham AFC officially ceased to exist then. Glass houses and all that.

You might think im a wum but i'm i the only one who thinks we failed our club and younger generations miserably. I doubt it! They will have to endure decades of abuse from the goats everytime we play them all just because we didnt stand up and fight for our club

What would you have done to save the club' I never get an answer. The Goats bought their owners out whereas most of us were damn certain that Vaughan was not getting a penny out of us so I ask you what we should have done to save our club. it is also completely irrelevant whether we are Chester City or Chester FC - history means nothing, it is the now and the future that matters and right now, we are in the same league as the Goats so which club has gained the most.

Only 11 years since Wrexham Football Club was formed. Wrexham AFC officially ceased to exist then. Glass houses and all that. That was just an ordinary name change. Within the rules and regulations. The same circumstances which saw you become 'Chester City F.C' You liquidated your club. It's completely different

It all depends on what players we recruit. It we retain the likes of Hudson, Richards and Joyce and lose Hughes and Alabi and don't recruits one or two marque players a la Hannah 2 seasons ago then it's going to be a struggle. I'm not convinced that McCarthy is the bees knees, but we're stuck with him unfortunately.

Chester fc formed in 1885 No no no no no no! You stayed within the rules & regulations, just like Wrexham, and other clubs, when you changed your name. i.e You became Chester City F.CWe have both changed our club names But, you liquidated a club. Somehow, a re-formed club was allowed by the Football League to started afresh not enough leagues from where you were expelled from - and adopted a club name Chester F.C You had a Council-owned ground. There was no significant fan demonstrations etc Even I don't understand how you wangled it.

We are obsessed by it cos we find it hilarious you just let your club die. No fight on or off the pitch. Yawn. Yet another boring moron returning from the bus station. The perennial question which you all ignore is what would you have done to save the club - pay Vaughan off presumably as you did with your owners. We took a more moralistic stance.

You can get as technical as you like, but we all know its basically the same club, only thing we lost was our league position but im not ashamed of it beacause i think it was a blessing in disguise, we needed new ownership, we needed a change and thats what we got, meanwhile wrexham are still in the same league as they were in 2008 😂.

Somehow, a re-formed club was allowed by the Football League to started afresh not enough leagues from where you were expelled from - and adopted a club name Chester F.C It had absolutely nothing to do with the Football League what league Chester FC played in back in 2010-11 and recent precedents (eg Telford, Halifax) existed at the time to allow the club to successfully appeal over what league we should restart from.
