Nice one lads we've got no chance of signing him now everyone knows who he is.... Or could it be that the player himself isn't actually being forced to turn out for us and might want to sign for our managers? 🤔 Do you honestly believe that because he's been named clubs will now flood in for him? No, that's why the first paragraph is laced with sarcasm...

This board is becoming more and more like a David Koresh Cult Circle - with Al as the Koresh of Deva Chat - say something tongue in cheek or that he disagrees with and he and his disciple's attack - Well for the record I will give again my view - I am looking forward to the season and am really happy with the joint managers in charge - what I do believe though is their recruitment is being restricted by budget and their players signed in my opinion are somewhat underwhelming and this Trialist A is another example - to compete at the top this season we need ex National League players not Ashton and Ramsbottom cast offs - If I'm wrong then great happy days but if I'm correct then crowds will again be low and the feel good factor will dissapear rather quickly - there you go that's my opinion

To be fair Fred, it was the Horans, Barnes', Howards and Wildes that brought us our success in the early years, rather than the Grittons, Trundles and Proudlocks.

You talk out of your arse most of the time and I've no problem telling you where to go. The bloke is having a trial, he's also got Oxford United, Plymouth Argyle and Bradford City amongst his former clubs. But oh no, you focus on him turning out for Ashton last season. You are an imbecile

Any relation to Dominic Smalley, whose previous club was also Ashton United? Deane was born in Oldham according to wiki. Going by this they appear to be brothers.

My cronies? You need help. Aye you need to lighten up pal - always angry isn't a good way to go - people have differing views sometimes I am no a WUM I've supported the Club for 46 years I think that entitles me to an opinion of how the squad is shaping up ? Anyway do you need a tattoo to join your Cult ?

Spot on Sir Fred, I’ve been supporting CFC for 18 seasons longer than your good self but throughout it all I learned from an early age that “Opinions are like arse holes, ie everybody has got one” - keep up the good work.

Off the top of my head ex Ashton and Ramsbottom include Shenton Smalley Pritchard Stopforth Howson and others with connections - who would I like to sign ? A anyone with Conference experience up top might cost a tad more but needed in my opinion Tom Denton would have been ideal or Adam Boyes to name but 2
