Wayne Rooney.
There’s no excuse for anybody drink-driving, but least of all someone for whom money is no object who could easily call a chauffeur or probably even helicopter to get him wherever he needed to be. Reading he’s now been arrested for another drinking offence. What a bloody idiot!

Where do we keep getting people like him from? Seems like a new one springs up every few months. I wonder sometimes whether they actually have any point to make and aren’t just general attention whores.

He claims that it was the sleeping pills he was taking, which frankly makes it even worse that he drank while on medication. Despite his wealth he does seem to have a catastrophic life!

I’m aware this latest offence wasn’t drink-driving, but he has been done for drink driving before. If he was just a normal bloke, I’d probably accept that he’s got a few gremlins, but you’d think he’d have enough advisors around him to keep him out of trouble. Says a lot that he’s both Man Utd and England’s record goalscorer, but neither set of fans like him much!

Have to say, one of the most enjoyable parts of Corbyn's ascent to the leadership of the Labour Party has been watching the selection of rich celebrities who previously supported the party under Blair descend into utter meltdown at the prospect of an actual socialist government. I'd suggest the fact that people like J.K. Rowling, Eddie Marsan, Rachel Riley, Nick Hewer and Alan Sugar can no longer support the party is a cause for delight and celebration. Good riddance to the lot of them.

Have you seen her total car crash of an interview on Channel 4 News with Krishnan Guru-Murthy? She literally says "I don't look like a typical Jew". Incredible, here is the woman smearing people like Noam Chomsky and countless Labour activists (including children!) as anti-semites and then when she actually gets given the platform to articulate her views she herself falls foul of the IHRA definition of anti-semitism. The stupid dickhead.

I notice that the Daily Mail campaign against abuse of politicians lasted for all of 24 hours based on today’s front cover.
“Egotistical preening popinjay” can join “enemies of the people” and “crush the saboteurs” in their hall of shame.

It comes down to what your interpretation of ‘anti-Semitism’ is. In your case, it just appears to mean opposition to the state of Israel. I would say it is absolutely essential that meaningful discourse can take place about the existence and policies of ANY state, and no religion should be used to make discussion a no-go area. For the same reason, I’d say the word ‘Islamophobia’ is bandied around too much as well. Admittedly, George Galloway is a knobhead and takes it too far. I saw a clip once of him refusing to talk to someone because he called himself an Israeli. We get nowhere with that kind of behaviour.

Quite simple really. Well ~~~ I'm a socialist and have been since I first voted Labour in 1968 (I think) and ever since. I think Chris Matheson is a good socialist MP, but the party as a whole, particularly the Corbynistas are far more sinister and not what I call socialist. Why does he embrace terrorists but passed up the opportunity to meet Netanyahu when he was at Downing Street last year.

Good try Al, but anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism are one and the same under the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism, which the Labour Party have failed to adopt in its entirety.

Mine excludes anybody who supports the politics of Benjamin Netanyahu.
