My point is Al brought it up in a manner suggesting that it somehow devalued the Brexit Referendum result whereas that's always the case in our elections. Governments do not have the support of the majority of the people but simply the majority of those who voted - sometimes. Nice of you to leap up and have your usual pop though. If the Brexit referendum was a strike ballot it would have been declared null and void as the minimum threshold for turnout and vote share was not reached (by some margin too). So much for the will of the people or do these draconian and arbitrary laws only apply to working people fighting for better conditions and not to gammons dealing with self-esteem issues? I'm not going to argue with you tonight because you don't listen to any contrary views. However, in peace and seeking information, where does this term 'gammon' come from. It seems a favourite of that gadger on LBC in the mornings.

Not sure where the term ‘Gammon’ originated (probably the Facebooks or Twitter) but it’s a generic term to describe those pink faced, sweaty, finger-jabbing right wing bores who populate the BBC Question Time audience.

It’s never mentioned when a Conservative government is returned either, so your point is what? My point is Al brought it up in a manner suggesting that it somehow devalued the Brexit Referendum result whereas that's always the case in our elections. Governments do not have the support of the majority of the people but simply the majority of those who voted - sometimes. Nice of you to leap up and have your usual pop though. Nah not trying to devalue it just stating a fact. Such a massive country defining decision and only approx two thirds bothered to vote. Remain voters blame the Leave voters, they should take a look at those who couldn't be bothered voting imho. That's where they lost it

Seem to remember a lot of people there going “yeah, I would’ve voted remain, but I never got round to registering my postal vote.” Young people tend to get annoyed with baby boomers - and I do find it surprising that so many people in a generation that lived through the 60s, punk etc can have developed such closed-minded and regressive views - but they should also look at some of their apathetic peers.

Michael Gove. A man who decided Britain is ‘sick of experts’ and has continued the cruel, unscientific, costly cull of thousands of badgers purely to appease the NFU lobby. Hideous on every level.

Just going to throw a few more names into the mix:
Kelvin MacKenzie: No need to comment on the reasons why.
Simon Cowell: Not so much the musical Saturday night Karaoke which has run it's course but the exploitation of vulnerable individuals on the early weeks of the latest installation of his latest trash TV. The concept of getting a cheap laugh at another person's expense shows him to be nothing better than a playground bully. It is a Dickensian ideology which I am surprised is tolerated in today's society.
David Beckham: "Look at me, look at me, look at me. I want attention, I need attention. Give me attention."
Giles Coren: I will mock the peasants whilst eating my overly priced quail's egg in a pretentious London restaurant. He'd have the working classes caged if he could.
Amanda Holden: Talentless but has the audacity to comment on other people's talent. Stick to looking for a wealthy gullible soul on "Blind Date" please.
Sadiq Khan: Absolute joke of an individual. You sit and watch the London live sporting events whilst your city becomes like the Wild West.
Royston Vasey: How this racist misogynist has made a living as a comedian is beyond me.

It is a Dickensian ideology which I am surprised is tolerated in today's society. Agree, and the worst thing is that the auditions you see on TV are not the first stage. My mate, who is not a bad singer, auditioned and didn't get anywhere near the TV stage. So basically, terrible performers are advancing through the early rounds, believing they're doing so on merit, when actually it's just so that they can be destroyed in front of celebrities. Appalling.
I had Jeremy Kyle on my list for the same reason. I'm sure almost everyone on that programme is not mentally sound. They're vulnerable people who think going on television is the way to solve their problems, and they get humiliated by an arrogant host and a judgemental audience. Given Kyle's first marriage broke down because of his gambling addiction, you'd think he might be a little less quick to judge others.

Diane Abbott is that thick she graduated from Cambridge, became the first black female MP in Britain and in 2017 won 75% of her vote in Hackney and Stoke Newington despite the relentless negative press coverage of her leading up to the vote. Yeah definitely thick as pig s**t.

Moving away from politicians for a while, the following five are some of the most pretentious gobshites who grace our tv screens: Nigella Lawson Giles Brandreth Jermaine Jenas Martin Roberts (Homes Under The Hammer) Sarah Moore. (Money for Nothing) The best part of all five of these is still stuck to the midwifes gloves!
