Just done that and the first three results were the Express, the Telegraph and the Sun. Says a lot. What about the video of him? Is this the video where he says ‘People shouldn’t be prosecuted for expressing a political point of view, but the commission of a criminal act is clearly a different matter,’. Fail to see the problem with that unless you want to go down the slippery slope of totalitarianism with Thought Police patrolling our streets.

I know we're supposed to be politician free, but surely we can make an exception for the slimeball that is Nick Clegg.

Has bloody Jose Mourinho been here long enough to be considered a Brit yet? What a big baby the man is, and total dinosaur of a manager who to me plays the same style of football the likes of Big Sam and Tony Pulis get slammed for. At least they have the excuse of doing it with clubs like Bolton and West Brom whereas he’s doing it with one of the biggest clubs in the world. I don’t get him - he’s boring and tedious and best Premier League seasons have been the ones where he hasn’t been around.

Was going to say he isn't British but I've realised that he was born in the OT's.

I think a lot of moderate people are reluctant to wear a poppy these days because people on both sides have politicised it. It never used to be a big deal like this, some people used to wear them and others didn’t, but now you’ve got some overzealous groups saying kids in school should be forced to wear them (kind of goes against what we fought for) and others coming up with pretty contrived reasons not to.
The British Legion, to their credit, always stay out of the debate and accept it’s a personal choice.

He was born in Northern Ireland which was then and is now part of the United Kingdom. I suggest therefore that he qualifies.

A Northern Irelander can claim British and/or Irish citizenship, so it’s up to the individual. I’m guessing he would not see himself as British.

You've lost track of what the point was. It's whether he could be included in a thread on a football chat site, not whether he can be in the ROI Olympic team.

If you’re sticking him on a ‘Worst Britons’ thread, can we include him on a parallel ‘Best Irishmen’ one?

James Connolly, Liam Brady, George Bernard Shaw, Willie John McBride, AP McCoy, Michael O'Riordan, Johnny Giles, Samuel Beckett etc., what’s to dread there?

Shame on you, what a terrible thing to say. It wouldn't be because she stands up for herself against appalling anti-Semitism from within her own party. You’ve just accused a fellow poster of including Margaret Hodge on the Worst Britons list because she is Jewish. By extension you are charging Deva Chanter with anti-semitism, a very ugly thing to do. I think the only anti-Semite here is yourself, seeing as you believe that her Jewish heritage is the primary reason she has been considered as a ‘Worst Briton’.

Margaret Hodge Is that because she's Jewish? I couldn't care less what religion she practices you absolute dinosaur. The contempt I have for a nasty piece of work like you doesn't really warrant a reply, but here goes. The reasons I included her in this list are manifold: - She's a tax-avoider - She's a Blairite - She was aware of disgraceful child sexual abuse taking place within her council in the 90's and did nothing about it - She pandered to the BNP - you know, those literal fascists - in Barking by suggesting that Labour should adopt a 'whites-first' housing policy - She voted for the Iraq War - She voted 13 times against investigating the Iraq War - She abstained on her own party's motion to ban arm sales to Saudi Arabia - She abstained on Tory welfare cuts - She bounces about the House of Commons shouting and swearing at fellow MP's - She compared the mild disciplinary rebuke she received from the Labour Party for her outrageous behaviour to being chased out of Nazi Germany by the Gestapo That good enough for you, Hannibal?

The above mentioned have said she's a worst Briton because she told Corbyn to his face he's an anti-Semite. Corbyn wanted her expelled from the party, but realised that in doing so he would split the party, so the disciplinary action was withdrawn.

The above mentioned does not refer to Jeremy Corbyn once 2. Do you have any evidence whatsoever to substantiate your claim that Corbyn wanted her expelled from the party? 3. People who use the "I'm a ....... so can't be a racist" line tend to be racist troglodytes.
