The Fort lost 5-3 at home to Turrif Utd after being 3-3 at h/t. When I saw the h/t scoreline I was hopeful of points, but it wasn't to be. Still an improvement on last season

For an answer to Fort William much closer to home, Neston Nomads Reserves are bottom of the West Cheshire Division 3 with a record of played 11, lost 11, goal difference - 55.

They returned to the bottom of the league last Saturday when the bottom team (Lossiemouth I think) won.

Won it twice 2013/14 and following year so hardly "buying" the league regularly! Fair enough. I should have inserted the words 'try to' as the they have had three near misses since 2015. Brora is a small village with a population of less than 1,200 and were no hopers like Fort William and Lossiemouth until the injection of a significant amount of cash every season since 2011. Saughall is more than twice the size of Brora ! Fort William finding life just as tough as usual. The Brora Rangers attempt to buy the League is going quite well this season. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/highland-league/table

The Fort beat Clachnacuddin 1-0 last night in the league Absolutely flying even done the double over them Saw they were playing Clach again but forgot to check the score. That's the first win for about 3 or 4 months although they've had most of their games postponed.

Deverondale 2, Fort 2. Only 3 points behind Lossiemouth with 8 games in hand Noticed that they have a lot of games in hand with the league scheduled to end mid April meaning that they have 16 games to play in less than 3 months as long as there are no further postponements.

I don't think they've played a home game for over 2 months.

A 2-1 away win at Turriff United has saw The Fort move off the bottom on goal difference.

Fort are due to play Lossiemouth at home tomorrow. They are the only team below them. Unlikely to be played though.

A year and a half on, Fort aren't getting much better, although at least they have a point on the board at the moment.
Has anyone been keeping an eye on Vale of Leithen in the Lowland League though? Lost 15 out of 15 with a goal difference of -91.

I'm sure we'd find a way to lose to Fort William if ever we met in the Anglo-Scottish Cup, Europa League or whatever 😊
