Jason Oswell not getting a look-in down the road. Might we have a dart at him? Hybrid thing may suit with him being a qualified physio. The two main issues with Oswell are whether Wrexham would want money for him, given they paid an “undisclosed fee” to sign him from Morecambe; and how desperate he would be to stay in full-time football as I believe he gave up his job at the Countess to join Morecambe last summer. As you say, the hybrid model could potentially represent the best solution. Doesn’t seem to have worked out for him at all this season with Morecambe and Wrexham, and it probably rubs salt in his wounds that Stockport have enjoyed great success without him. He proved last season though that he can bang them in at this level.

If I remember correctly, before he joined morecambe to go full time he was part time playing for Stockport and working at the countess. His punt to go pro as a footballer with morecambe and wrexham seemingly hasn't worked out, so could if he goes back to part time then we would be a great option for him. Not that we want to be paying undisclosed fees for two of our striker though.

Jordan Hulme being linked with Southport and they're also after that big guy McNulty. Imagine him and Astle as a pairing. Hulme will be offered ridiculous money for this level with a Club who average 800. If we signed them pair I’d be confident we would win the league comfortably. According to the man himself he’s met no one & is happy at Alty. He wasn’t put off signing for us by someone shouting at him in the BB either.

Stockport striker Matthew Warburton has already agreed a deal to join Northampton apparently, I didn't know you speak to other Clubs at this point.

Knew every player we had signed 3/4 days before it was announced last season.
An agent has replied to that post about Warburton saying "Done Deal"

Cheers mate, suppose that's part of our problem, the teams we are competing with for players

According to the ‘Non-League Tittle Tattle’ page we have been linked with Alex Bray from Rotherham United. Hopefully not, he did nothing on his loan spell at York. I know not every loan spell works out though. Although it seems he did nothing a Thing WSM either. I’d like to see us get a mix of hungry loan players like Mooney before he totally burnt out at Christmas, and some experience pros again, just a bit more quality than this year dotted in between.

Durrell will be back on some rumour page before long or Scott Brown

I don't think Durrel and the rest of the Macc squad will stay around with the continuous late payment of wages. I think Durrell will end up back at Wrexham.

Bray was excellent against us earlier in the season, albeit against Smalley. Think it was that encounter which eventually ended Smalley's time in a Chester shirt actually.

Maybe we should see who Southport release and snap them up, given McCarthy’s record of letting players like Durrell and Hunt go.

Have a bit of respect will you, everyone knows Rowe-Turner is a hundred times the player that Hunt is. Look where Rowe-Turner is now just to see! Was Hunt part of the miracle at Aldershot??

Neil Young's tenure at Marine FC is now in doubt after the clubs chairman issued a public apology following the clubs first relegation in 125 years. I’d be surprised if he wanted to stay on to be honest. Not sure why it’s gone so wrong for him, but he’s struggled at every club he’s been at since leaving Chester. That’s some record for Marine if they’ve never been relegated in 125 years!

Maybe we should see who Southport release and snap them up, given McCarthy’s record of letting players like Durrell and Hunt go. Rumours are that Southport's playing budget was £825,000.00 for 18/19. Some players may need to take a pay cut if they are thinking of coming here. That figure makes McCarthy's achievements in 18/19 all the more spectacular.
