Wrexham linked with a former Welsh international who has been released by his club.
It isn't Aaron Ramsey is it? Decided that Wrexham was more glamorous than Italy!

Notice Shaun Millar (Crewe striker) been made available for free transfer Now there's a signing I'd like to see us make

Be interesting to see where Shaun Miller ends up at; even at 31 he’ll do a job - don’t think he’d drop down to CN just yet. A more realistic proposition is Jordan Williams who has just been released by Rochdale - from North Wales, appears to have lost his way a little, but at CN level would be a really good central midfielder or central defender. . . worth a cheeky enquiry

The one they have released is the winger that we tried to sign from Northwich a few years ago, only for him to end up at Barrow instead.

Just seen on the chronicles website that there r a few ex blues been released now I'm not a fan of bringing ex players back but if the money is right I would bring back Kevin Roberts or holroyd though I think I'm dreaming

I would prioritise another pacey striker if we're going to get another striker in.

Could Danny Williams or Johnny Hunt be the left back we need and push Matty Waters up or vice versa?

Could Danny Williams or Johnny Hunt be the left back we need and push Matty Waters up or vice versa? Hunt would be a solid player at this level, although i'd imagine after 2 years in league 2 that he'd at least get a contract in the national league

Hunt or Roberts would be good additions for us. Not sure I'd go after Holroyd as I think we need support in other areas first.

Read a thread on another forum where a fan was complaining that supporters always talked about bringing former players back to the club, instead of new ones,it happens here as well but players rarely reach the levels they obtained when they were first at the club. People will come up with a few names that have worked but most that I can think of were a bit of a letdown second time around, Billy Dearden anyone.

Be interesting to see where Kane Richards ends up at he's had 3 decent Clubs but failed to make any impact ( apart from scoring against bottlers) at all 3 Clubs

Holroyd would be able to offer something different up front so would be happy to see all 3 signed for a year.

Cheddy Whiffer would be a decent signing in my humble opinion.

It was so evident in the last Derby as well.

He was still a regular in a team one league above us and with the best defence in that league.

I see that Darlo fans have raised over £50k in just 10 days towards a build a budget fund (target £80k). Not bad considering they haven’t even got a new manager yet!

Clearly a set of supporters that believe in the fan-owned model and want it to succeed. I'm starting to get a little concerned that we've only raised £1380 towards the KGV sports hub so far, I know there's still the raffle and other things to come towards it but thought we'd see a lot more than that by now. I think we really need to push this with the Blacon community

It’s lagging behind the other hub, the one community actually care about.
