3-0 Jackson - He has started the season really well. Something like 2 goals 3 assists in 5 games? He’s our standout for me, McNally seemed to disagree yesterday maybe he’s changing his mind slowly as games go by? Quality today and well managed, in truth it could have been more. Impressive stuff and surely a huge confidence booster going into Kiddy who beat Curzon today. We’ve got a tricky spell coming up so the longer we keep this unbeaten run going the better.

Missed this one due to being away. Fantastic result. We've got some real talented footballers at this level with Jackson, Waring, Hughes, Roberts, Asante etc. Can't wait until the Hereford game. Hope there's well over 2,000 there.

Great 4-0 result, however I think a beer tent, band/DJ few things for kids, would have been a belter for today. Especially with the weather. At 3 nil up with 10 minutes to go we had people leaving. Unreal our fans at times.

Could have been 6 or 7 Like any winger at this level he will have poor games, hence playing conference north part time. He does offer us a get out a jail free card with that pace if we’re under pressure and willing to run in behind. Overall hard to judge today, you wonder how they beat Kiddy....Anyway it’s 3pts and we deserve all the plaudits for that.

They were poor. Not sure if they had players out because they weren’t impressive at all. We battered them & it could have been 5 or 6.

Also I'd shut the West stand too. Saves money opening a stand and pack everyone into North and East stands.

When all players are fit we are as good as anyone in this league it helps having a strong bench noticed Gloucester only had 4 on there's.

That freak first goal seemed to knock the stuffing out of them and they never recovered. Having Hughes up top really helps with pressing from the front and we just seemed streets ahead all over the pitch. Really impressed today. Only negative is still Dudley - nobody will convince me that playing deep and laying it off every now and again is doing nearly enough at this level.

More so in the first half. Hughes, Jackson, Livesey, Taylor, Waring and Stopforth were all excellent today. Nobody had a bad game for me. Buzzing with that, roll on next Saturday.

That was one of the best performances for a while. Matty Hughez gives us much more movement upfront. Some lovely one touch passing at times, which was really pleasing to watch. Great individual performance from Waring, who is developing into a real handful. He took his goal so well. Also, good to see we can bring added firepower off the bench. Kevin Roberts and Taylor really make a difference to the way we play. I think everyone put in a decent shift today.

Yeah I was amazed to read some saying we can't drop Dudley earlier this week. Not sure what he's done since the first half of last season to earn that. Hughes, Waring & Jackson were all class today and it's encouraging to see the kind of options we have on the bench compared to certain stages last season. With Roberts & Stopforth in the middle of the park, you can appreciate how this side has nicely taken shape. We were a little bit careless with the ball on occasion it has to be said, Gloucester though never looked like capitalising. Expected more from them today.

At home we should be a handful for most teams. Away, I'm not sure. Need to have a plan B for the poor pitches we will come across that does not just involve lumping it to Waring

With the indifferent start they’ve made I’m not sure they will this season. 3,000 total would be great.

Reckon they’ll bring 800 here easy.

We produced a faultless display to put out a real statement. In every department we were clinical as we made a Gloucester side (who had won 9 of their last 10 away games) look very poor. Aside from that we kept our first clean sheet which I’m sure will give Russ Griffiths a confidence boost, as he put in a strong performance today. This result adds to our very impressive start as we are still yet to concede a goal from open play, whilst this preserves our unbeaten start.
Our first half display was very dominant as we won plenty of headers and passed the ball around nicely. We got off to an absolute flier as we found the net TWICE in the first 5 minutes which had connotations of the 8-2 Aldershot Town game. Danny Livesey opened the scoring just a minute into the game with a fluke goal, which was very similar to Joel Taylor’s miss against Farsley Celtic. He hoofed the ball downfield from the halfway line, and as a result the wind helped it loop over Zack Jeacock into the back of the net. Just a few moments later we doubled our advantage as Matty Hughes played the ball into George Waring who cooly slotted home into the bottom right hand corner. Our blistering start gave us plenty of momentum as we continued to dominate this contest, whilst Gloucester looked very deflated. Our defence and midfield won plenty of balls and headers, and we stretched the visitors out by using the width to great effect. Our opponents went very close to getting a foot back into the game as Fabien Robert poked an attempt against the crossbar. Matty Hughes was very close to finding a third as a curled effort on the edge of the box went just inches wide of the post. Zack Kotwica tested Russ Griffiths just before the break as he got down low to make an easy save. We were by far the better side in this half as we went into the break with a very healthy advantage.
The second half was a little bit more cagey, but we still continued where we left off as we dominated once more. Brad Jackson and Joel Taylor were excellent going forward again as they got the better of a tired Gloucester side to start off a number of attacks. Brad Jackson put daylight between us and Gloucester as he scored in front of the Harry Mac for the second week running. Initially Matty Hughes’ attempt was parried out by Jeacock, but Jacko was on hand to angle the rebound into the far corner. Hughes went close once again as an effort from range forced Jeacock to tip it round the post for a corner, with Simon Grand heading over from it. Russ Griffiths was involved once again as he palmed a powerful Joe Hanks shot over. Gloucester had a couple of spells down both sides which produced zilch as any chances they had were blazed over to top off a frustrating day for them. We continued to hunt down a fourth, and we duly did as Danny Elliott was brought down for a penalty. Akwasi Asante dispatched home his second spot kick in a matter of days to confirm an emphatic result. We saw the game out to secure a brilliant victory.
Nobody put in a bad display today as everyone contributed to today’s win. My man of the match goes to Matty Hughes who played as if he didn’t have that lengthy injury. He started off really well last season, and he continued where he left off today as he got into a lot of dangerous positions to cause Gloucester’s defence all kinds of problems. I’m gutted he couldn’t get on the scoresheet, but at least he managed to assist Waring’s goal whilst he played a big part in our third. Jonno said in his interview that he will be signing on, and on the basis of today it really is a no-brainer. Brad Jackson continued his impressive start by putting in another superb shift today. His pace caused Gloucester nightmares, and he netted another goal in front of the Harry Mac today. Not many people have mentioned Gary Stopforth who put in his best display of the season in my opinion. He covered loads of ground in the centre of the park and stole the ball from Gloucester on a lot of occasions. Russ Griffiths was solid between the sticks as he made a couple of good saves, and he kept his first clean sheet which will give him confidence. George Waring was effective up front once again as he held up the ball really well, backed away from the opposition with effect, and topped it off with his third goal of the campaign.
This result will give us a lot of motivation as we will end the month with 3 tough tests, albeit slightly easier than first anticipated. Kidderminster Harriers have had a very rocky start, Hereford FC are managerless, and Spennymoor Town currently sit in the relegation zone. I am sure these sides will be a lot higher when it comes to the business end of the season, but in my opinion we are playing these teams just at the right time. Next up is Kidderminster so hopefully we can take a strong following to secure our first away win of the season at a place we never do well at. Brilliant result today blue boys. Let’s keep it up and show this league what we are all about.

All a bit easy. Could’ve been four up at half time.
Great to see Matty Hughes in the blue and white. Class player who linked up so well with the big man up top.
Stopforth all action again and Gary Roberts continuing his fine start to the season.
Only concern is Dudley. Just not getting in the games and to struggle against Gloucester is worrying.

What we did today as opposed to Tuesday was to move the ball quickly on the floor. This was perhaps in part due to the pitch at Kettering, but more to do with Matty Hughes who was MOM for me. He gave us options that Mahon doesn't. A result at Kidderminster and the me, the most pessimistic fan might be glass 2 thirds full.
