We seem to play them every season? I can recall us playing them twice, with the first being a 3-1 defeat in the Cheshire Cup in 2014 and the second being a 5-1 win in a friendly in 2017.

hopefully we will be top of the league by then and the younger lads can play but if we are struggling the first team must play

If we play the young lads we'll get beat. We lost to Rylands preseason 4-1 with the youngsters. Runcorn beat Rylands 2-0 in the FA Cup at the weekend.

try telling that to Neil young he won it with chester and showed it off on the town hall and open top bus with thousands of chester supporters who loved it, plus a league trophy of course but it was classed as a double

It’s all down to opinions I have mine and just because yours is totally opposite doesn’t make it wrong, it’s good to disagree without it turning into the usual bout of insults which often happens on here. At the end of the day we all want the same thing a successful winning team and with a bit of luck we might end up getting it this season, mind you every other team in the league wants the same thing.😂

Given the fact that we seem to have been the most injury prone team in non league in recent years, I'd say to play any regular first teamers would be a big mistake. Play young players, and first teamers who have been on the bench and need minutes.
