Money is tight and remember Hughes hasn't signed up for say 12 months yet, which one would you pick - if you had to, which the managers may.

The lad is class, not all his passes come off, but you can see he is a really intelligent footballer. He uses the ball so well. He could play, a few leagues higher. Him and Hughes, Jackson, Taylor, Waring, Morgan, Asente etc are the type of players you would need to make an impact, in the conference.

Can someone fill me in on his situation please, this short term deal is he a free agent who is just here until a better offer comes in or is he contracted to a club & we have him for a month or 2? I like the look of him clearly far better than this level, reminds me of Reece Hall Johnson totally different position I know before somebody lambasts me for comparing a full back to a midfielder but you can just tell he is a quality player with his touches and passes etc. He was truly superb yesterday with Burton who has finally shown he can play(hallelujah) but a lot better than Roberts so if the possibility to get him in for the end of the season is on I say do it just need info on his current situation. Thanks.

Thanks. Both players are on non-Contract terms which are best described as like week to week deals where they are paid but either party can terminate with 7 days notice.

Oh dear I don't know why but I thought Matty Hughes was on a contract like Gary Roberts once he had proved his fitness, If not that needs sorting as well or we could lose them both.
