Yep! Beers all day- i remember in our conference winning aeason taking 2500 on a Tuesday night so 1000 isnt T all unreasonable we will see. That Jamie Heard cross for a Daryl Clare header in to the back of the net in front of us all was one of many great away day moments that season. Scenes!! I'm really looking forward to this one, I haven't anticipated match days this much for a long time. This the one?

In case anyone is interested in going upmarket at the Telford game I have just booked tickets for their lounge. Pleasant lounge with access to the outside stand, team sheet, buffet lunch, separate indoor bar and meet the players after the match (no good for me as it will be the Telford players!). The cost for this bronze package is £20.
I used the lounge last season for the Chester game when the £20 included a free bar for any three drinks so I had 3 glasses of quite nice wine and my son had 2 pints before he realised he had to drive me home! I think they now realise that at £20 last season they were making a loss as it also included car parking! I just hope we get a better result this year, in which case I will be happy to pay for my drinks!

I'm really looking forward to this one, I haven't anticipated match days this much for a long time. This the one? Great night this, we took a right army with us, cracking atmosphere. Andy Woods filled in that nice and was competent. Ian Turner was one of the best keepers the club has ever had - was fantastic in his short spell. Jamie Heard with the assist, a guy who was superb with us but never went on to anything better, I think he had a few issues off the pitch that effected his progress.

Should be looking at 1200-1500 away fans for this carnt wait, really excited Haha. I'd say 650/700 tops. It'll take time to build after damage McCarthy did, but I feel we're getting there.

We went and got our tickets from the station yesterday and the guy behind the counter Was saying there's been a couple of hundred tickets bought already. He said he watches Chester and his nickname is pink. You'll understand if you saw him.

Seems we had a fair few keepers that season John Ruddy NOT being one of them. I remember Iain Turner being very good for us. I remember him being a bit dodgy myself, fumbling a corner into his own net against Aldershot and letting a few cross-cum-shots sail into the net in other games. He was great in the two crucial matches against Shrewsbury and Scarborough though, which is what most people remember.
