York are on fine form at the minute and they'll be backed by a decent following, we haven't won at home in god knows how long this is nailed on for a York win. Queue the happy clapping muppets. Is this the same York, that got tossed, at Home by Bromley?

That result last night shows what a mad league this is. Like Macclesfield, who got beat twice after looking like Brazil at our place. Expect anything!! Be a good atmosphere on Saturday as I expected them to bring a good 500-700.

Big game for York on Saturday after squandering their game in hand last night. On recent form they've looked likely to avoid the drop but people were talking about Halifax a year ago as though they'd definitely be ok after a good run of form and ultimately they went down.

Obviously I want us to win on Saturday but I would also like York to stay up. We had a good weekender there early on in the season.

Looking forward to Saturday. Should be a good game, with huge importance to them. Hopefully we can thrive under no pressure and get a few goals.
Hope for a good gate too, be great to see 500+ in the away end for a change.

Changing the subject a bit - who is going to come up? Personally I'd like to see Stockport. Nice and local and big crowds. I hope it's not Darlington. I see that for the fourth or fifth time their supporters have caused trouble again this season. We don't need that.

If you spread negativity at the ground like you do here, it doesn't help anyone does it? Least of all your own state of mind. I'm looking forward to Saturday. First home game of the season!

It's that negativity at home which may be responsible for our poor home form, bear in mind how well we play away.

I think Fylde will be champions with hopefully Kiddy or Stockport through the play-offs. Stockport's ground is nice and big and would be a good day out.

Have you ever thought that all our home games since Christmas have been against teams above us in the league while our wins away have been against teams who are below us.

Well, a York fan met Mills in person and asked about his time at Wrexham. Mills told him that he genuinely didn't care about Wrexham anymore and couldn't care less that he was sacked. Gary Mills my hero Of course Mills wasn't bothered he was sacked, he got a good pay out off us.

I trust that you could prove that if he were to sue you and this site for libel and defamation? If not, have you got the funds to pay for the compensation? And who would pay the compensation for this site's share of the damages? point me in the direction of the accusation I made and I'll let you know. If it comes to the crunch I'll borrow money off the university, isn't that what us goats always do? Borrow money off the university? That's a new one - when are you going to pay it back?

apparently a fair few from york are coming down lets beat them and put 1 nail in mills relagation trap door Although giving you lot money is against everything I stand for I may be there on Saturday with a mate just to abuse Mills !! I hope you thrash them 10 nil but feel sorry for their fans as Mills will do the usual and spend money on crap players and spend little time training them and hope for the best !!

It feels like every game is a tough game lately, but it will be good to see if the players improve with there being less pressure on them now.
It's been a long time since we won a game comfortably, but the squad is virtually running on empty, with so many players injured in recent months or at least carrying knocks (Mahon, Chappell, Akintunde, Killock, Vassell, George, Horwood will all probably miss this game).
Personally, I hope York stay up and one of the southern teams go down.

I went to Guiseley last season on the coach and I remember a similar offer was put in place to all the fans who went to Halifax only to see it called off.

I think we were 10th when we played Solihull and they were just outside the relegation places.
Haven't got the time to check, but will hold my hands up if wrong.

Just have to accept that as a home crowd who have been treated to successive titles a few years ago we really are a bunch of negative moaners. Until that changes, the atmosphere will always be crap, attendances will continue to fall and home performances will reflect the derision.
It's not everyone, but it feels like it's getting worse of late - perhaps due to less people in the crowd. You have to ask the question why a team plays better away from home when the whole ethos of having your home 'support' is meant to make it the other way around.
People can't seem to handle how bang average we are in the league. we're not great, but we're not shit either. I know that's hard to sell (albeit the club's pipeline is fit to bursting point with ideas) but that's where we are. Listen every fan wants to say they support their team, but if you are honest you know when you've sat there at home games just how many people are shouting down players this season. I suppose it's our job to shout louder support, or take the Arsenal approach...

The City Fans United board are pleased to announce that, for the remainder of the 2016/17 campaign, entry to the Blues Bar on a home matchday will be FREE! On the announcement, City Fans United Chair Alan Povey said: “As we come closer towards the end of the season, the board are delighted to announce that we are dropping the entrance charge to the Blues Bar for all remaining home games of the season. “The Blues Bar is a great place for supporters to meet pre-match, and we want to encourage as many people as possible to use it to help create a great pre-match atmosphere. With BT Sport also showing live games, why not enjoy a televised game before enjoying the real thing! “We will review this again at the end of the season, but – if successful - we would also hope to make this a permanent feature next season.” Read more at www.chesterfc.com/news/article/2016-17/blues-bar-now-free-entry-3662321.aspx#sdqrthWCZEHicHry.99
