Having spent two hours today stuck in traffic at the post house roundabout [an hour this morning, and a repeat performance on the way back home]
Started me thinking how bad the road infrastructure around Chester is
The A55 from Mickle Trafford to the post house is largely unfit for purpose around rush hour with traffic routinely at a standstill
Sainsburys so called roundabout, poorly designed, causing long traffic tailbacks on the A41 and Caldy vally road
A51 Rugby club roundabout rammed most mornings, in fact the A51 from Tarvin into Chester is largely slow moving 2nd gear stuff on a Saturday lunchtime, I cant comment on what its like around rush hour
but I cant imagine it is anything like free flowing
A483 from Wrexham also rammed most mornings, Queue routinely back to England Wales boarder, anyone living in Wrexham and working in Chester must have to add an hour to their journey times I would have thought
And the answer to this is to build more houses opposite the business park causing even more congestion
Is anyone in the Council looking into any of this, or is this just the price we have to pay in the age of the car
