Claim Your Turf plots are now on general sale! We did a soft launch last week to allow existing plot holders to renew but now they are available to everyone. Once again the plots cost £25 inclusive of VAT. This season profits will go to the club's Infrastructure Budget with the intention of putting them towards the construction of a Wheelchair Viewing Platform We have had a tremendous start with £1,725 worth of plots sold but there are still over 40 unclaimed, including quite a few at the Harry Mac end. The plots currently available can be viewed on this page www.chesterfc.com/join-the-journey/fundraising/Please email fundraising@chesterfc.com to Claim Your Turf!

Just a thought I am sure many have had ? Given there are 1143 members on here if all gave £1 per week it would = £73,996.00 per year handy to help the club but if multiples of this were given £2 or£3 etc etc what a club we would have again just a thought I am sure all the owners I.E the fans could do !!!!!!!

Great sentiment, won't happen unfortunately. Already lots on here donate a lot more than £1 a week. Anybody not doing it can email the above and set up a direct debit easily.

Evening all, what a week!
Just wanted to say a quick thanks to those who took part in the Chester FC Sponsor-A-Goal scheme, which has now of course ended for the season.
A grand total of just over £700 was raised via this scheme, which has gone straight back into the club's coffers - every single £1 counts so much, and hopefully after this week's positive news, we can get some more signed up for 2022/23.
If you would like to take part please email chesterfcgoals@gmail.com and I'll look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks again, Jeff

Anyone know much about Seals Lottery these days? Looks like you still have to fill in that horrendous form and print it to sign it - is there not an easier online way of doing it?

Try saving it and opening as a PDF - should then be able to complete it by keyboard and also add an electronic signature that way using Adobe's functionality ("add text" to fill in the form, "draw" for the signature).
I've been meaning to join this for about 10 years but the whole process has been off-putting. We can do E-tickets at a turnstyle but can't sign up for a monthly draw online.

I think there was briefly an online form to complete last summer which I filled in and never heard anything back about, but can see that’s disappeared now.
I too (to my own failing obviously) find the paper form off-putting, and it’s one of those things I’ve always been meaning to get to but never have.

I'm in it but forgot my number. No way to find out what it is. Sure system was in process of being improved ages ago nothing seems to have happened yet.

Always seems to be the same names winning prizes most months too, and from the replies above I'd doubt half of those who think they've signed up are actually signed up at the club's end.

Money going out every month so hope I'm in. Then other strange things have happened to me in past. I used to get emails that were supposed to be to one of our pitch side sponsors for many years and still are because of one letter different. Also had my season ticket say I'm in East stand when I sit in N block in West stand. Guy on gate eventually asked me after he recognised me why I came to west stand then I pointed out it was N block which was on season ticket.

I won 3rd prize last month on Seals Lottery. It does work.

To be fair it could well be that the usual names have multiple entries which is fine. Just makes some of us chuckle seeing the same names in the top three prizes on a regular basis - these people are getting thousands out of this! But I guess that's the luck of the draw and the more entries you have the more likely you are to win something.

I have 2 entries, and have won 3rd place twice in 13 years.
Anyone who isn't sure can ring or email in and get a reply fairly quickly.
Cant see why its an issue to you when you aren't in it?

Signed up for two entries (£10) on 6th March with the first payment date of 5th April. Doesn't seem to have come out my account yet so I'm guessing I'm not signed up.
I’d completed the PDF electronically via Adobe app and then emailed it.

Has the club looked at potentially making an online version of the 50/50 draw, to allow Exiles to take part? A potential extra revenue stream in addition to the existing physical 50/50 tickets. I can't remember the platform) website name, but I remember something similar was done for a youth team game during the pandemic

I'm sure at present they are flat out with play offs prep, sorting next seasons budget/contracts, grounds maintenance and all host of other day to day things?

I get the whole "we're in it together" stuff as a fan-owned club but Rhodri has provided a not unreasonable suggestion considering the club have done something similar in the past during lockdown and he's met with "you do it" for a response which isn't great - especially since some staff at the club are paid to do it and board members put themselves up to do these jobs - all the manifestos pledging how much business knowledge they can bring etc.
Just because the board are volunteers it doesn't excuse them from doing a job in accordance with their portfolios - they volunteered to do it!

Oh behave, they are absolutely full chat at the moment, volunteers or not. All rhodri has to do is email the board member responsible. Its not hard. We are all in it together, and if the exiles would appreciate a 50/50 draw doing then maybe the exiles could look at ways of making it work?

Just out of interest, and I apologise if asked previously, but do the club charge that motorbike training academy for using the car park or would any money go the council anyway?

The last time the lease was renewed I believe it gave us the use of the car park, so would presumably go to the club - not sure what the arrangement is and whether they pay though.
