I thought he was excellent in the second half, made plenty of lung busting runs and was always an outlet. Probably got a rollocking at half time after that first goal. Agree he was more in the game in the second half, but he always needed an extra touch before crossing the ball, missing opportunities. I think a few are guilty of taking too many touches at times. For me, we've got two lightening fast wingers who should be able to get to get on the ball and whip crosses in for the likes of Asante, but we seem to pass it back and forth a few times before delivering into the area, by which point the opposition have got themselves set to defend it. For the first 10 mins last night Joel was whipping in some nice early deliveries and they looked all at sea, it's an effective tactic at this level in my opinion. Anyway, thought it was a good advert for National League North last night. I don't subscribe to some opinions that we were much better than them, I felt that both teams played well and neither could have grumbled with a draw but obviously to take the win is brilliant and it's been a while since we've pinched one at the death like that at home. The ref was a bit of a tit, but he did perhaps let us off by not sending Jones off. From where I was standing on the Harry Mac I think we had one or two bodies desperately trying to get back but the lad was about the pull the trigger and there couldn't have been too many arguments if he had seen red. The atmosphere was great last night, and as another poster suggested sometimes it takes a controversial ref to whip everyone into a frenzy. One of the most enjoyable matches I've seen down there for a while.

Who needs Rio, can we get this guy back. Quality. Agreed, I don’t normally watch these vlogs but that is excellent. Always better when it is done from a neutral perspective.

Any reports on damage in the away end? I thought i'd check what the Lynn fans thought of the game, not much on there but there is a part saying someones smashed up a couple of seats.

One of the most enjoyable matches I've seen down there for a while. To be honest Si I thought we were much the better side in both halves. Their chances were few and far between, it was just that they were more clinical with what they did create. The way the game unfolded and given the performance, I'd have walked away dissapointed if we hadn't got the win.

That KL player could have been in trouble if the ball had been a few inches to the side ;-)

It’s a shame we weren’t shooting towards the Harry Mac, I think there would have been limbs on the pitch! It looks like Marriot tried to hit the ref at FT 🤣

It looks like Marriot tried to hit the ref at FT 🤣 They certainly have a peculiar way of editing videos on the NL official site. Seems to involve putting their own branding over someone else's video, then pruning it down to about 3 minutes, often losing key highlights but always including the kick off, just so we know the games did kick off. Plus the videos are often slow and freeze. Think I'll wait for the club's official highlights.

Culverhouse has said that they gifted us the 3 goals and theirs' were well worked. I've seen both games against them and we've gifted them 3 of the four goals they've scored.

Great result last night and as has been said can’t best that last miniute winning feeling. It seems the duo got things spot on last night. Credit were it is due but it’s one game we really must push on with positive results against Brackley and Gateshead

looks like Jordan Hulme was at the game last night A fair number of the altrincham squad, and their management team and even some supporters Judging by postings else where were there last night. They had a night off training after a tough schedule in recent weeks and play kings lynn at home on Saturday. Jim Gannon was also in attendance .

Thanks to everyone who made it to last night's game.
One of those nights that we all crave. The league leaders at our place and we turn them over in the last minute. No better feeling than that, and hopefully a few more down on Saturday.

Look at their pipsqueak number 2 celebrating in front of Grand after the first goal, only for Grand to return the favour much more aggressively after the equaliser!

1967 and Havana are quiet on this thread What a bellend comment. Some of us do have to work unlike some keyboard warriors. Great game and well deserved. Pity we can't put our Jeckal and Hyde play to bed.
