I can't say "I don't believe it", because I was expecting it.
I've sat on the fence with Bern and Jonno but this is shite and they're to blame.

I think we will drop out of the top 7 before the end of the month 4 defeats from last 6 matches (unless we can get an equaliser/which I doubt) is not good enough.

Alty 4-1 Spennymoor - Hitting form at the perfect time, there the ones I think that'll win the Play Offs

Two years of consistent inconsistency has been rewarded by another two years.
Best Hope is AFC Bury come knocking....

I didn't agree with the contract extension, but didn't say so because I didn't want the abuse, but I guess there's more than a few are pissed of with their lack of tactical nous.

Can't defend that. A really rubbish result against a team like that. Players and managers need to seriously look at themselves now because we look all too weak to compete seriously in the play offs, if we are to even make them that is.

How many humiliating defeats do we need under ‘Bern and Jonno’ before people realise they are poor managers. More of the same next season in this league.

Piss poor - that's a truly dreadful defeat.
When do we ever actually play well away from home? Southport on Boxing Day seems to be the last one. We just turn up every week, get overrun and outfought. We then just do the same thing again the next time. We need to find a way to compete away from home and that's up to the managers.

That's the season over, we''ll just embarrass ourselves even more if we somehow get a play off game.

If you get all whiney when you read people criticising the players/managers you'd be advised to stay off DC for a few days.

Two more years. On big contracts. For consistently being inconsistent.
Great personalities, Sunday league managers.

Deserved nothing - not good enough so inconsistent, if we went up we would be screwed, lucky to make top 7 this season, good squad yes, score goals yes, defend NO. Can you imagine next season if we went up? Bern & Jonno need to spend big in the summer, I am afraid to say we aint got the money to do just that, I am mot sure Bern & Jonno can find the solution? Big changes required in the summer, playoffs if we make them we will get beat, better teams the us at the minute i.e Alty. Boston York I am afraid wr need to prepare for next season, disappointing yes, unexpected no. Time for a 🍻

Players and managers you need to hang your head in shame. That was the most embarrassing, gutless, clueless performance since Halifax and Telford away two seasons ago. We were totally outclassed by BPA. It's not like they were a good side. They just did the simple things easily. I am totally embarrassed to be a Chester fan at the moment. Utter, utter dross 😠😠😠😠

The most disappointing thing is that after getting what sounded like a bit of a fluky equaliser, we've allowed the game to slip back away from us.
I kind of feel like it serves us right as well. I got the feeling the mentality wasn't right heading into this game, with Jonno's words to the effect of "it doesn't matter who is bottom of the league, you've got to beat them", it just seemed like everyone was gearing up for an easy win, with someone even starting a thread this morning to say that. You can't go into any game in this league expecting anything but a bloody hard slog.

I didn't agree with the contract extension, but didn't say so because I didn't want the abuse, but I guess there's more than a few are pissed of with their lack of tactical nous. I did say I didn't agree simply because as yet they hadn't really deserved it. At this level I don't see how you can offer long contracts in principle. We had a manager who stormed this league and then sacked after promoting us to a Higher league. There contracts should have been to the end of the season and then if promoted a bonus and better deal... Not sure what's more depressing having a neighbour using a speed camera on me at half time or hearing this result!

Tom Crawford scored the first goal in Notts County's 2-0 win at Barrow, which (I think) was their first home defeat since September.
