Best youth team outside of the FL, something to be very proud of.

Best youth team outside of the FL, something to be very proud of. Congratulations to all those involved in last nights win. Having reached the Cup Final and being in with an excellent chance of winning the League that is a justifiable claim.

Well done again boys. Also noticed Luton Town Cedars were very complementary on their twitter feed saying, our lads would give many full time pro academy's a good game. They were. Thought game was played in a good spirit and credit to Luton for their sporting comments after what must be a disappointing defeat in a National Semi Final. twitter.com/LTFCCedars?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

Would like to see Crilly given a chance in the 1st team before the season is over along with Ruffer Nowhere near ready for the first team this season. And Johnston is? Have you seen him play for us? At least Crilly will give all he has, go past players and do something that Johnston has consistently failed to do and actually put a tackle in.

Fantastic Achievement to reach a final of another competition, very different to the FA Youth Cup in that we are no longer the minnows but still a fantastic achievement for the kids which shouldn’t be soured and tainted by certain posters with cheap shots at first team managers or players. Sorry, but not cheap shots. It is my opinion. Whether you choose to agree with it or not is your prerogative. We have players in our match day squads who are consistently below par. A couple of these kids played up would play with an intensity that would lift the crowd, and would play without a fear that some of our first teamers do. Not everything is a dig, some people just see the game different to you.

Another excellent performance from the u19.
Work rate, tempo and organisation were all top class. Every player was at least a 7 last night. That seems to be the case every time I watch them.
I actually thought Hartlepool, who we played in the first round, were better than Luton.

Not on twitter, what does that say? 'Full report tomorrow. Lost 2-0 to a very good Chester side who would give many full time pro academy sides a good game. We weren’t far behind them but on the day they were better than us. We lacked a bit of quality & didn’t create enough chances. Chester scored 2 excellent goals'.

Another excellent performance by our young lads last night. The gruelling conditions certainly hampered the game, and the hardy 268 souls in attendance for that matter, but they stuck to the task very well to get past a decent Luton Town Cedars side. They had more of the ball in the second half but we defended resolutely to earn a deserved clean sheet, and both of our finishes were very well-taken too. Looking forward to going to Walsall again now for the second time, where we will certainly be in with a chance of landing another trophy. If I remember rightly two supporters coaches went last time to add to a superb following of 200+, so it would be brilliant if we travel down in our numbers once again this time, as these lads deserve it. Keep up the fantastic work young seals 🔵⚪️🏆👏!
