Barrow have commented on “media reports” of a NL meeting taking place, clubs have been told nothing.

Breaking from Harrogate who are due to travel to Solihull for a NL match tonight..
“It is with regret that we have had cause to apply to @thevanaramanl for the postponement of our fixture this evening with Solihull Moors
We have four employees currently under self isolation and we have a duty of care for the health and wellbeing of players, staff and supporters.”

The National League seem to be communicating especially poorly. In theory, it's 24 hours until fixtures kick off. Absolutely nothing on their website or Twitter, and you'd think it was just a normal weekend of fixtures. The leagues below are at least acknowledging that discussions have and are taking place, even if they haven't announced a decision yet.

National League has just followed the (lack of) decision making by the FA.
Let's be honest, you wouldn't trust either of those organisations to make a decision.
Like Lobster, I'm very surprised.

Where will Riot get his fix?! What are the odds on him live streaming himself watching an MLS game online and then posting us the match report? Actually Airbus v Penybont is still in place, as it stands... Hoole playing fields it is 😜!! Screw that one. 1885 Arena it is!

Once again the Conference shows it has no consideration for the fans of it's member clubs.
The sooner we get back in the Football League the better.

We should count ourselves lucky to bow out with a home match, before the league is inevitably suspended before Alty. Be careful tomorrow, follow common sense practices but do get down to the 1885 Arena for one final payday for the club for a while.

Would not surprise me if the League do a u-turn before tomorrow morning
As Danny says think this could be the last game for a while
Won't surprise me if it tops over 2.000 with no Prem

Aye it'll be a low gate for sure.
I agree that the league may well change their minds before tomrorow afternoon - Harrogate have already put in a request to cancel tonight's game due to circumstances around their own staff self-isolating.

if 60,000 plus are allowed to attend Cheltenham then I don't see why football cannot go ahead. 80% of the population are going to get this flu at some stage. Suspending matches for 3 weeks will make bugger all difference when this flu will last for another 10 to 14 weeks. Smaller clubs will not be able to survive with no gate receipts for the next 3 months. Did the club ever take out business interruption insurance which it was talking about taking out after the debacle of the offices being flooded?

Depends whether you think the UK government is right and all other European governments and medical experts are wrong, doesnt it really.

There's really no point in cancelling sport, when everything else is still open

Thing is your damned if you do your damned if you don't had the Government put a blanket ban on sport then you would be accusing them of over-reaction, I think at present the decision should be with each sports governing body after following advice given out by the Medical Profession. I suspect as things get worse then sport and other gatherings and events will eventually self isolate.

Time to do your own personal risk assessment. Take care of yourself if you are in a high risk group or provide care to someone vulnerable. No right or wrong or blame in this. Keep well everyone.

Did the club ever take out business interruption insurance which it was talking about taking out after the debacle of the offices being flooded? The PL/EFL haven't postponed the fixtures due to any concern about their clubs supporters - 'The FA, Premier League, EFL and FA Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Championship have collectively agreed to postpone the professional game in England until Friday 3 April at the earliest. This action, which will be kept under constant review, has been taken due to the increasing numbers of clubs taking steps to isolate their players and staff because of the Covid-19 virus. The decision is being made purely on the number of cases requiring self-isolation and the impact on facilities. Given the steps being taken across clubs, there is no alternative but for today’s action. However, all parties are committed at this time to trying to complete this season’s domestic fixture programme and are liaising to establish appropriate options to do so'.

Given premier league and efl off it will be interesting to see if we get a few more on the gate tomorrow ? Never sure we benefit in the same way as some other clubs from the Premier League being off. If you share a city with a big club you've got a chance, so I can see the likes of Marine and City of Liverpool benefiting, but in truth the Chester public are either interested in the club or they're not. We're in the vicinity of several big clubs, but on the periphery of all of them.

Are the leagues marine and CoL playing tho, I thought it was cancelled at that step of the pyramid, just national league and North and South going ahead.

Southport v Gateshead postponed 'due to the visitors having members of first-team staff who are self-isolating in line with Government advice following the Covid-19 outbreak'.
