It wasnt a rumour. I know someone who works at the Countess. It helped give context to reasons why the game was called off. Tedious oaf. Well your friend should know better than to release this kind of information until it is a confirmed case and it has been officially released by COCH. Did your friend explain to you that it takes time when the bloods are taken that you have to culture them and then confirm the case ? I guess not. Just to add that any press release would have to be seen and advice taken by the hospital legal team, but your mate knows best because he/she works at the hospital. God help us with employees like that My mate knew someone had died of the virus in the hospital in Chester. He mentioned it to me as I have elderly relatives. It had also been all over social media earlier in the day. Chester FC call off a game due to the consideration of "local circumstances". I put the above to add meat to those bare bones. Read what I write or not, I don't give a monkeys. Feel free to use the block function, but believe me as a general public we need employees like him in our NHS even more so right now.

So your mate knew someone who had died before the results had come back and was confirmed by COCH but he mentioned it to you because you have elderly relatives, really ? At a guess you read it on social media and wanted to put meat on the bare bones as you say, What about the respect of the family and were they informed before your mate told you ? I have to question the professionalism your mate has for his job as I am gob smacked by his thinking if and when he told you.
