I don't think it's guilt at all but I know for a fact that it is often said. Some people are tested more than once. I'm quite hard of hearing so have TV very loud. Surely you have heard it stated. If not I suggest you turn the sound up

It’s quite incredible how many Government lies Tory supporters will swallow and how many excuses they make for a PM who has been found so wanting. Clearly Boris Johnson is to crisis management what Jon McCarthy is to football management, yet people just eat up and regurgitate all the bullshit. I suppose it’s human nature really as people don’t want to confront their own culpability in the unfolding horror show. The feeling of guilt must be overwhelming.

61,000 infections per week still.
And we’re talking of easing the lockdown further.
Murderers.

The personal attacks are creeping back in again. Let's stop them and carry on with reasonable debate or risk having the topic locked.

The man who shaped the government’s so-called strategy for dealing with the pandemic ("herd immunity, protect the economy and if that means some pensioners die, too bad") is immune from Lockdown rules.

I don't think he will resign and he sure as hell won't get sacked. Waste of Time having a parliamentary vote because there is only one way that will go.

Hilarious seeing the Minister for Propaganda, Laura Kuenservativeberg trying to spin it on Twitter. I’m so glad I don’t pay a license fee.

I see our intrepid Labourites are not mentioning that Labour MP Steve Kinnock visited his 78-year-old father on his birthday and all the wonderful welsh police did was criticise him yet hundreds of hard-working people get fined for going to the beach double standards or what

To be honest when this crisis started I was of the opinion that the government was doing the best it could under the circumstances. But the longer it goes on the more ridiculous the decisions, and the more obvious the mistakes regarding their strategy, are becoming but one thing they should be congratulated on is their ability to take advantage of the general publics inability to stay focused on the real issues.
You can almost imagine the conversation in the cabinet meetings. 'What shall we do about all these people dying in nursing homes and the lack of PPE? I know we'll make Captain Tom a Colonel that should deflect things for a few days. Then if that doesn't work we'll give him a knighthood, those twats out there will soon forget about the pandemic if we give them something to be happy about'
Another thing that's become noticeable is the absence of Boris. Have the rest of them finally realised that he is so out of his depth that he can't be allowed to head the 5 o'clock bullshit just in case he says something stupid?

Was he actually caught outside his dads house by the police or did someone grass him up to the papers and the police had a word after the fact. I suppose it's a bit like someone driving home pissed from the pub, and the coppers coming round with a breathalyser two days later, because a neighbours phoned them up.

Hope that helps. Also, being 'hard-working' doesn't give you the right to break lockdown rules, last time I checked.

I didnt say being hard-working gave them the right to break the lockdown rules merely made a comparison and as I said earlier Cummings should go if is guilty as charged

Isnt that the same for Dominic Cummings though "The Labour Party has demanded a "very swift explanation" from Downing Street over reports that Boris Johnson's senior aide Dominic Cummings broke the Government's lockdown rules. The Mirror reported that he was spotted at his parents' home in Durham when he was recovering from Covid-19, after travelling from his London home".

But you seemed to be upset that the Welsh police didn't do anything about Kinnock. All I was pointing out was that it would be hard for the Welsh police to do anything unless he was caught in the act, unless their powers have been extended to retrospective fines based on hearsay evidence. By the way I'm not a 'Labourite' or a Welsh copper.

600 mile round trip with a 6 year old child, how many motorway services did he visit to pass on the Miley Cyrus? Can only guess what his R number is, must be double figures.

If Cummings was concerned that he and his wife were too ill to look after the toddler then the should have contacted Social Services which was the prevailing advice. Instead they decided to risk the health of the grandparents', Cummings' sister and all the inconsequential 'ordinary' people they must have encountered on the journey. If he isn't sacked any existing or future advice to the nation will compromised and possibly ignored.
