We began these calls today and have had a really pleasing number of volunteers coming forward to help. Thank you to everyone who got involved today.
Initially we are aiming to contact CFU members, season ticket holders and club volunteers who may be considered as vulnerable based on the current guidance.
We hope many of the people we speak to will be doing well and in good spirits with a support network in place, however we have already made contact with some who may need a little help or further contact to reduce isolation.
In some cases, it may just be a quick chat to offer reassurance or talk football, but we can also offer practical support with shopping, newspapers, prescriptions or signpost additional services if required.
This is not just a scheme for Chester FC supporters, we are keen to reach as many people as possible so if you know someone who may benefit please email [email protected] and we will get in touch.
