Who scored that goal number 30? Absolutely superb!
Steve Whitehall scored some absolute crackers for us, like 36 against Kettering. As did Alex Smith (180 v Barnet)
Love Chris Blackburn's non-celebrations. Never seen a player look so embarrassed about scoring!

I've had a quick go at making a quiz of it:
#17. Name the opposition (skip to 4:09 minutes) #40. Name the opposition and goalscorer (10:08) #76. Name the ground and opposition (18:51) #97. Name the ground, opposition and goalscorer (24:55) #108. Name the goalscorer (27:38) - not a "superb goal" despite what the commentator says! #123. Name the opposition and full name of the goalscorer (31:29) #149. Name the ground, opposition and full name of the goalscorer (37:10) #169 - 172. Name the ground and opposition (41:08) #173 - 174. Name the ground and opposition (41:41) #201. Name the ground, opposition and goalscorer (47:27)

I just found a cutting and the Chester team was:
Mackenzie, Vaughan, McIntyre, Carden (Davies 46), Bolland, Ellison, Harris, Hope, Rapley (Whalley 57), Stamp, Booth (Drummond 71). Subs Brown, Edmondson.
Who were the opposition?

Great quiz lobster and not easy ,I was thinking on something like what you've done but put on in the blues bar charging for teams.we then could see who the real supporters brain boxes are

I'd like to know what the game played in snow was - goals 138 and 139. Someone must remember it!

Since reformation, two players have scored for us (both once) in a competitive first team game (all comps) despite never actually starting a game for us either.
Name the players and bonus points for who the goals were against.
I'll narrow it down a bit and say neither came through the youth system.

Nope, wasn't here long but did start a few games.

James Caton is one.
His Chester career consisted of one goal in one substitute appearance - a last minute consolation in a 2-1 defeat at Grimsby towards the end of the reprieved relegation debut Conference season. Never to be seen again.

Jason Gilchrist in the FA Trophy against Hungerford? Can’t remember if he started a game during his short time here.
